Food was mediocre. Nice selection of taps. Situate on a beautiful lake.
We went during the 4th so they had a limited menu, nothing that I was too thrilled about. But what we did order came fast and was tasty. But it's their staff that is the star. Super friendly, loved them. Great view and the breeze was a godsend on a hot day.
My husband and I go out to Lakeside often. The entire staff is always more than accommodating to both of us and to every guest that comes there. If I am cold and it isn't cold for others, I know that one of the guys will always get a heater for me to sit under and stay warm and confortable while eating or listening to music.Great bands play here and they are just like family. The atmosphere here is family friendly. We love going to Lakeside as we always know that we will be taken care of quickly, efficiently and with big smiles! I love that they snaddysam have an ice cream bar for me at the end of my meal. Everyone working there and all of the guests have great attitudes and have the best time! If you have any problems at all, management attend to them immediately upon hearing your complaint.Best place around Helena for a lot of great fun!Love The Management and Staff?
Fun atmosphere for the 4th of July! Live band on Saturday night. Small menu for the 4th but the pulled pork sandwich was good. We will be back.
We never knew when Lakeside was open so we stopped going. It’s open everyday at 3, which makes planning much easier. Limited menu, but really good food and the calamari salad is still on the menu. Full bar and outside seating when the weather is nice makes it a fun place to go. Live music on Thursdays makes it that much more fun.
Had drinks with my gf while Insufficient Funds played on a Friday evening. Drinks were wonderful and served promptly with a friendly server. Ordered a burger with all the extras, no bun (keto).. kinda skimpy on the extras (mushrooms), bacon was limp and undercooked for me, and the burger was a bit overcooked and kinda small for the price, but otherwise we had a great time. My gf ordered the fried raviolis and they were delish!! Love this bar, the area, the view of the lake, the atmosphere, the owners and servers, as well as the local music talent. Everyone was dancing and having such a great time. Highly recommend!
Went for St. Patrick's Day. First time here. Liked the fact they contracted a party bus to bring people in from Helena and East Helena. Bus is super fun. Menu is a little small but still good enough for a bar. Service was meh, took forever to flag down a waitress and music was so loud we had to write our order down for her because she could not hear us 6" away. We got burgers and they were super good, like really surprisingly good. Fries were great....hot, skinny and not too salty. Loved the live music. However, since it was cold outside everybody stayed inside and the band was SO loud you couldn't talk to anybody....which is the exact reason we went there, to meet new people. This place was pretty busy already but I have to imagine it will be rocking during the summer where you can hang out by the great looking beach and in the big backyard. They have horseshoe pits and a nice fire pit outside. We will try this place again when it is warmer.
