Quality depends on who is in the kitchen. Sometimes all good and sometimes dry meat that tastes burnt that they try and insist "is supposed to be that way" the first round of trying to send it back to be remade. If things are coming off the grill with that charred burnt flavor, it's time for a grill top cleaning. They remade the order with a different meat not done on the grill top. When I arrived home, the burrito was easily less than half the size that was served on the first round in the restaurant and the remaining plate filled out with beans, rice, and side dip. I would have preferred my original dish portion and no sides as I ate the sides in the restaurant while we waited for table service to correct the issue.
Let's start with the waitress. Very attentive and on top of her business! I very much appreciate that. Always making sure our drinks were refilled and we had everything we needed in a timely manner.Drinks, someone who knows how to actually make a michelada and never disappointed with the flavor..Next the actual food, as someone who grew up in New Mexico, I can honestly say I've tried Alot of mexican food, tex mex, new mex,,and traditional Mexican food from my grandma. But when moving back to my home state of Montana I've never been able to find really good food here in that regard. This is the one place that I would go or recommend to anyone, every time. The only complaint I have about the food is that it could maybe use a little bit of salt (And maybe some more spicy). I know they make it for all these white people out here. So that isn't their fault. Maybe make some really hot hot sauces just to top it off and then you're solid
Delicious food, quick and friendly staff. Always recommend if you're on the Westside.
First time here and it was awesome! Place was packed. Had great service. Ordered the veggie burrito and the Verde burrito. Both were big enough for 2 meals! Will definitely eat there again!
Bland near flavorless mush. Ordered a salad with ranch, forgot the ranch. Ordered a chalupa and was incredibly disappointed. While edible and in solid portion sizes it’s Mexican restaurants like this that help me understand why Taco Bell is so popular in town.Won’t be returning and advise all others to try one of the many other Mexican restaurants in town.Authentic Mexican food doesn’t mean bland. Perhaps the owner should spend more time learning from criticism.
Great food, service and margaritas! My new favorite restaurant in Helena.
The food was really good and you get a huge portion. I had the deep fried pork combination and my wife had the carne asada burrito.
I had the chile verde plate and it was delicious! Our servers were great and quick to assist with our orders. Left happy ? and definitely will be back!
This place started off strong but has slowly lost its quality. Had a chili Riano when they first opened and it was great. After that it’s now and omelette with a chili inside. Not the way to do it. Shrimp overcooked, chimichangas with mostly tortilla and hardly any meat and no flavor and to top it off today’s burrito supreme was a plate of mushy tortilla with pork and green sauce smothered in iceberg lettuce WTH. YOU JUST SERVED ME MY LAST MEAL. GOOD LUCK
Beautiful people and awesome food!!! Makes you feel like your in Mexico
