Love going back in time a bit and enjoying a great meal n Shake .. brought our new to us 55 to Hwy 55 .. w the 55 on the roof :D
Clean and well lit with lots of fun decor. Staff was attentive and quick to wait on us. Food was very tasty and plentiful. Cheesesteak sandwich was best with chicken cheese steak a closer 2nd. Don't forget the shake with tour meal.
Hwy 55 has been pretty good for a while. Tonight however, total bs. My Philly has like zero cheese on it, and 2/3 the amount of meat usually in it. Probably won't go back.
Great food made by consummate professionals that offer a wonderful dine in or take out options; I have tried nearly every variant of peanut butter shake while also getting delicious entrees like the pimento cheese burger or the Moose cheese steak sandwich. This place is consistently excellent!
Atmosphere.....simply amazing! If you love a true classic style American diner this is a gem!!!! Service was great the couple of times we have been there. Their concretes are amazing....heck, their entire dessert menu is amazing as a true counter style diner should be! Menu selection has enough for everybody. The only reason I knocked them down a star was that their burgers were just average, especially for the price. Overall, definitely an above average, fun place to visit! Will definitely return!

The kids chicken strip meal doesn't have much chicken. The strips weighed less than an ounce and a half. They also sat in the fryer so long as to be inedible. I tried calling to get redress to no avail. As you can see by their response, customer service isn't their strong suit.
Wow this place is so yummy and so retro. Very cool place for anyone to come and enjoy some great food and deserts. My family and I love this place and end up here at least once a week! Plus the kids will love the kids meals!
I used to enjoy eating here... when they are actually open. several times I have showed up to eat only to be disappointed with closed doors... even after they changed their schedule to be closed two days during the week and we show up to eat during the "new" business hours only to find out they are closed then too.. not sure when the appropriate time to give up on a place to eat is but they sure don't seem too committed to serving their customers. two stars is only because the food and service has been ok when they are able to serve.
The atmosphere was great . The food was great . The milkshakes were excellent. Great place for burger, fries ,salads etc . Will dine there again when our family is in Helena. The server seemed to enjoy her job
