One of the best pizzas I have had in a long time. The garlic Knots also delicious. The staff was very friendly.
Last couple pizzas have been really poor quality - lack of ingredients and undercooked pies being the main issues. Just ordered a margherita and received a pizza with three spoon-sized dollops of mozzarella and a couple of wet tomatoes in the doughy center. Will not be returning.
Almost perfect. Rating super high because I have never picked up a slice so quickly in all of my life and I'm from NYC!! The taste wasn't there for me to say it is genuine Brooklyn Pizza. I should know, used to eat a lot of pizza when I went to Brooklyn Tech HS. But the service was excellent and the pizza was edible, I would recommend stopping by for a quick bite.
I want to compliment this restaurant. Every time I’ve interacted with them it’s been a very pleasant experience. I’ve dined in, ordered out, and gotten delivery and they are just doing it all right. The quality of the food is good, the quantity of the food you get for your price exceeds expectations, and the customer service has always been impressive. Y’all are killin’ it. Support local!
It was definitely not what I expected. The restaurant itself is much smaller than the commercials lead you to believe. As for the food, you order by walking up to the counter. There were 3 people in my group. I ordered a slice of pizza, which I was given right away, as the other 2 in my group ordered. We sat down and I felt odd, being the only person with food in front of me. I had the choice of being rude and eating my slice in front of the others, while it was still hot, or having manners and waiting for the others to get their food and my slice getting cold. That's when I realized that, in this restaurant, the food comes out as it's made, regardless of the table it goes to. So, about 10 minutes later, the 2nd entree came out (which was a sandwich that was so dry, it could barely be eaten). By the time (45 min later) the 3rd meal came out, the 2 of us had been finished with our food for quite some time, but at least the last meal was piping hot and looked delicious. I asked how it tasted and apparently it had so much garlic, it was barely edible. As we sat there, I observed numerous people walking in and picking up online orders to-go in a matter of minutes.SO, apparently the way to go when eating from here is to jump online and place your order, so you can get in and out lickety split.
Not great and not bad. Definitely worth the $4 dollars but anything passed that would be hard to swallow. I’d definitely like to try what else they have to offer.
Extremely disappointing “Margherita” pizza.Skimpy toppings. No tomatoes. Overcooked. Dry. Flavorless. Blah. Waste of $18 for sure.
Yesterday my daughter and I visited Brooklyn Pizza and Pasta Co. We placed our order for dine in and found a table. As we were waiting we watched several orders go out the door. We visited, played games, and people watched. After an hour and 10 minutes I checked on our order. There was a kitchen mixup and we were missed. The staff apologized profusely, were very nice and professional, and got our order to us immediately. They made the unfortunate situation right immediately, and went above and beyond for us. We ended up taking our order to go and it was absolutely delicious. Sometimes mistakes happen and it is all about how everyone involved handles it. You handled it great and we will not hesitate to visit again.
I wanted this place to be good. It's location near Reeder's Alley and Blackfoot Brewery and some patio seating would have made it perfect. However, food was awful, wait was long, service was terrible and price was high. There wasn't a single thing to redeem this place. Our friends who were with us told us not to order a whole pizza because the wait would have been really long above and beyond the crazy long wait just to order by the slice. We tried to order some pizza by the slice from their display case but all they had was cheese pizza and it was cold, greasy and about as thick as two sheets of paper. This was just an awful place to get pizza.
Ordered lunch here yesterday and was charged $17 for their spinach salad. I have ordered this salad many times previously and it has never been this expensive. This salad is not worth the price. Had I not been in a rush I would have went somewhere else. I like that they do single pizza slices but their prices are beginning to get unreasonable. I could understand a slight price increase but this is excessive for the quality and quantity of food.
