My husband and I were driving through Helena and found this restaurant. It is fantastic! Other reviewers who said this is the best burger around are absolutely correct. I had it and loved it. My husband had the braised lamb and it was also fantastic. We started with the hummus plate and I don't know what they do to their hummus but it was some of the best I have ever had. And the service was friendly and prompt. The restaurant is downtown, cool jazz atmosphere. Highly recommend!
I can’t begin to describe how much I love Benny’s Bistro I’ve enjoyed the cuisine here for lunch and dinner multiple times, always outstanding! From the moment you walk in to when you leave you will be completely satisfied. Food so good you will swear under your breath with every bite, the wine selection is fantastic and the wait staff is very knowledgeable in that regards. Georgia has been my server every time I’ve gone in and most certainly why I continue to come back, Emma has created a dreamy spring menu that never disappoints. By far my favorite place in Helena, the atmosphere is casual for lunch and more intimate in the evening but any time is enjoyed by families and friends and always full of laughter and conversation.

Our favorite by far in Helena: great quality locally grown food and perfect ambiance. Just never have had a bad meal here. And as of 3/1/22 a new menu! Live music most Fri/Sat.

Went for lunch with my mom. The Flathead Cherry salad was absolutely delicious, with marinated cherries, chicken, and cheese. A perfect size for lunch.
The best tomato soup I have ever tasted. Friendly staff and amazing food. The new chef had a lamb shank special. Chef, you nailed it. Would recommend to anyone and I will be back again.
Amazing experience, from service to wait times and amazing prices. I would gladly pay more for the quality of food here. I had the polenta appetizer, shrimp entree, perfectly dressed salad and cherry pie dessert. All scrumptious. What a gem here in Helena! Whatever youre doing, keep doing it! Will definitely be back again!
Came here after eloping and the waitress and food were amazing. Tomato soup was by far the best I’ve ever had, cheese board was delicious and we had the bistro steak (cooked perfectly) and the sautéed shrimp with gnocchi. Everything was amazing, never felt rushed, 10/10 recommended this place to anyone in the area!
