Fast service with a smile. Love the shakes!
The joint has loads of potential but lacks in a variety of areas . Keep the menu but upgrade the product. Get the girls in uniform skirts and get some 50’s and 60’s music playing and I’d bet the place would boom.
Again there is absolutely nothing special here food wise. The food is pretty standard "fast dinner" food but it's not "bad" it's dependable good standard dinner food where most things see the fryer. (Most Americans will eat a tire if it's deep fried though) the menu is straight from the 70s and hasn't been updated since then I don't think. There are many things you can order that are not on the menu so ask about corn dogs and tater tots or alla cart. They are willing to do what you like for the most part. But if you like shakes then theirs around 50 flavors of mediocre shakes. Their fries are good though and stand apart from other places and come with a smile face tatertot gem. The reason you go here is the experience to pull up to a drive in, park under the canopy, have a girl run yes RUN to and from your car to wait on you. Then experience eating in your car. It looks like a nostalgic drive in and at night lights up retro tastic. So it's not really the food your going their for it's the experience and it's a cool one. Go check it out for sure!
A Great Falls must visit! A town staple and a gem. I live close, so an easy walk up the hill for me, but if you drive, just park and a friendly car hop will be out to take your order. Same applies if you decide to walk up as well, as there is seating available outside on benches. The food tastes wonderful and the prices are very reasonable, especially these days. I ordered a double cheeseburger deluxe (lettuce, tomatoes, onions, pickles, ketchup, mayo, and mustard), added bacon as well, and was not disappointed. Speedy service. They have many varieties of shakes to choose from, so try 1 a day for the summer and you might try them all before the end!
In the summer of 86 a young woman named Susan walked to work at Ford 's drive-in. As the story goes she would skip the soda that was obligatory for all American meals of the era. Instead she drank powdered milk with her shift meal in order to make sure the growing baby she was carrying would grow up having enough calcium. That baby was me. Needless to say Ford's drive in has always been a family tradition when in Great Falls area. Last year my wonderful mother passed away sadly. As long as Ford's is a thing I'll still stop by. I'm sure the girls who walk to work there now won't give me a hard time if I have a little cry while I wait for my food to come out.
Great food and shakes. Good prices. Sour cream and onion fries are amazing.
Burgers are the bommbbb. Very delicious, fries where alright and the selection of shakes got me.
We normally go at least once a week. We have always received great service and amazing food, priced right as well I should add. Hands down our favorite lunch spot.
Girl waited on us from the out side. Car hop. Food was good .Pork sandwich just like Butte M.T. Onion rings and a Shake that was excellent!! Two thumbs up.
Last time I was here about 3 months ago. They had just closed but they made me a Huckleberry shake that was awesome. So, I was in the area and stopped by. The burger is awesome and I tried a corn dog also awesome. I recommend this drive inn . Thank you for the great food.
