Earlier this month I was in Great Falls for an evening and was lucky enough to find the Enbar. What a fantastic place! Great decor, very helpful staff and my meal was incredible (the Rib Eye steak). Meat was perfectly cooked, the accompanying vegetables (brocollini and baby potatos) were nicely seasoned and the wine list had a nice selection. For sure my "go to place" next time I am in Great Falls.
This is the quintessential local bar. The interior is brick with wood floors and a bar tops are black slate. They specialize in cocktails but also have some excellent beers in particular I like very much to drink the dog full Porter. Everyone treated us very kind but I could see locals love the place it's very chic.
the wine pairing was fun. Great food and nice paring of wine. highly recommened. be sure to come hungry. there is a lot of food to eat!
This was the second time I tried this place despite a colleagues suggestion to not. This time I tried the their Flatbread which was cold, the small amount of cheese had not even melted and was crust was quite hard. I appreciate the effect that they are aiming for bunch the basics are lacking.
Contrary to the uppity attitude, there is nothing to be stuck up about at Enbar. The sub-par food is quite overpriced, one waitress gave us dirty looks and the food took 1 hour to arrive….cold. The salmon tacos are a bang for your buck but not too classy looking like a large salmon steak wrapped in a tortilla. The vibe is fun and the Juniper tastes like cough medicine, the drink named something about Summer was delicious. Carmen was great and very sweet. All around, good for drinks and an app and a bougie vibe but don’t hold your breath.
We attended the Wine Pairing with Hope Family Wines. Because of our schedule we had to take the late seating which was delayed because the early seating lingered a while, but any irritation over that was quickly forgotten during the first course. Absolutely delicious food and we'll paired with the wines. It was incredibly noisy initially, which is why my ambiance rating is lower. Overall, Enbar is an incredible addition to Great Falls and we have enjoyed all our experiences there.
We love the EnBar and always enjoy the atmosphere, drinks and food but the wine pairing dinner was a bit different. We wish we had been seated at an actual table. It was very hard to hear each other sitting at the bar and also the chef and wine reps. The food was okay- very large portions for a 5 course meal and very heavy.
The food is absolutely amazing & ambiance is equally fantastic! Superb service, happy energy but w/ class. Highly recommend. Quality downtown digs that won't disappoint. Definitely a highlight establishment in Great Falls MT!
I’ve been coming to Great Falls for business about once a month for a year and I’ve been working my way around the restaurant scene. I’ve been to Enbar twice now. Both times I ordered the ribeye steak and the salad. The steaks were good, medium- rare to medium. I ordered rare to medium-rare. A little over cooked but very tasty and satisfying. However, both salads were dreadful. There’s NOTHING quite like putting a forkful of salad greens into your mouth that are soggy and limp, no not soggy, actually ROTTEN, SLIMY, DECAYED, NAUSEATING. How does a server pass a salad like this to a paying customer? That was my first visit. Yes, I returned for another try. This time the rate to medium-rare ribeye was cooked medium throughout. The cook really needs some training. The salad arrived and I inspected it carefully. The lettuce was okay but it was obviously leftover from the day before. The croutons were completely soggy. I won’t be returning for a third try. I do not recommend.
Everything was amazing and my favorite was the pork belly appetizer and this Blueberry drink!
