The Amigo has been a place that I frequented as a kid with my parents and grandparents. Still the same mexican food - its mid-west mexican food! People are friendly, staff is helpful, but the thing I like best here is the chips and salsa. The chips are seasoned and the salsa is great!
Sat in the amigo for thirty minutes with my fiancé after working a sixty hour work week the new waitress brought us one menu. Asked us two if we needed three waters?? For the two of us. I ordered a Bombay with pineapple juice and she ordered a raspberry margarita on the rocks. No one came by to take our order. Eventually a different girl came by to say you can have pop or water because your drunk and passing out on the table lol!! I guess these underpaid part time workers don’t know what working hard is. So we went to talk to a manager and this lady said she was the manager and she didn’t know anything about it. It was just wrong we came in sober hadn’t had anything to drink. They made assumptions that weren’t true nobody was passing out at the table horrible service. Just pass the amigo and make your way to the halftime for the better drink and the same but even better tacos!!!
The place and people are great but our server must've been having a bad night, taking away from the whole experience. Imagine 1980's Rosanne take your order. We'll give it another go this week because the food is delicious.
I love coming here. Aaron is amazing. That young man deserves a raise. He's on top of everything and remembers everything!!! Plus the wonderful tacos and crisp for only 2.00 bucks!!! Must go..

I had lunch here recently and service was lightning fast and friendly. I've eaten here plenty of times before and have always recieved good service and hot food.
This place is great for margaritas, blended or iced! Food isn't bad most times. Tonight wasn't one of the better times I've been here for food and service. I'll be back as that is out of the norm.
