Great Great place to take my toddlers for dinner! My kids are currently 2 & 3 and we never get to go out to dinner. This was perfect because they were very much entertained while dinner was being made! Then they LOVED their food! My 2 year old kept most of his dinner ON the table, which is an improvement! He has to do everything himself, or he'd get more actually in his mouth. Thank you to all the staff for being so patient with kids! We will definitely be coming back as a family.

I am so impressed with the customer service we experienced tonight. We went there early because it was my son's 6th birthday and it's his favorite place to go and watch at the hibachi grill. When we got there they were short staffed and already booked on the hibachi side. When they found out that it was my son's birthday they called some of the people on the reservation list to see if everyone was still planning on coming and a group was not able to make it and so they squeezed us in their place. Talk about going above and beyond. My son was absolutely delighted. This generous cusyomer service experience will stick with us for a long time and we will go back again and again. Not to mention the food was fantastic and the Hibachi cook was fun and cheerful as always.

If you get a chance to sit on the Hibachi side its great. Although I don't think the chefs are as entertaining as they used to be. I only have 4 stars because the food is always good. But other wise I would have given 3 or 2 stars. I do feel its not being managed well. Before COVID it was first come first serve at the Hibachi, you could make a reservation if you had a big party, but other wise no reservations. I know COVID changed things but Bozeman has been mask free and back to normal for a while. This last time we went there for my birthday in Dec and they said it now requires a reservation. Which they didn't post on their doors or put on their website. So when you walk in and tell you no Hibachi its very disappointing.

The manager was very rude to my son before we even sat down! We literally walked in the door the manager said we can only sit on this side of the restaurant, we explained we drove 2 hours because my son wanted to eat here. Than as we sat down he informed our waitress we had to order immediately and to make room for other customers. I finally had to just get in his face and asked his what the problem was and he finally backed off. He tried to explain it away as confusion with what we're going to order. Had to tell him we didn't even get our menus yet. Thankfully he left and we got to order our food in peace.I have to acknowledge the waitress Claire, she was really great during all this and I gave her a very good tip.The food was just ok, I would give it 4-5 out of 10. My wife is Asian and she can cook amazing Asian food. So the sushi was obvious not very fresh and was way too fishy smelling and tasting. This is from it being frozen for a long time or way past it date for freshness. The chicken was very dry and seemed like was dry from leaving it on a counter too long, which made it dry on one side. Noodles and vegetables were way soggy. I think the biggest problem was there was hardly any flavor, they didn't use seasoning on most of the meats. I think they tried to rely on the sauce the pored on it. So basically I was tasting chicken with a tiny hint of flavoring. If this is what the managers interpretation of Asian dishes, he's not giving his customers the best quality food. I can name a few fast food Asian restaurants that have much higher quality food than this. I can't believe I paid over $200 for our meal there, and realistically should have paid less than $100 for the quality including the tip.The only thing going for the food was the presentation. Which was great, but all when away after the first bite. I would never recommend this restaurant because of the manager and the food. I think it's way overpriced, and was just a horrible experience for my son's birthday.I've been to many Asian restaurants in my live and travels. I'm usually impressed because most restaurants are great. I have only given only one other bad review of another restaurant, which was a Mexican restaurant. I can safely say this is the worst reviewing our of hundreds of restaurants I've reviewed.

Was looking forward to our first visit to this restaurant, however we were more disappointed than happy with the experience. We were 45 min early for our reservation, but we were seated early, which was nice. I will also say that the staff was friendly...the wait person and hibachi chef were fine. The problems started when the food arrived. As in many Japanese steakhouses, starters are a soup and salad. The soup was unremarkable and the salad was a bit of lettuce with a touch of dressing. Both were a waste of time. I will also say that I've eaten at Japanese steakhouses in multiple states and cities and have seen and experienced excellence. This was the opposite of that. Continuing with the dinner, we both had their best dinner, the Wasabi Special, which included filet mignon, lobster, shrimp and scallops. I will say the quality of those four items were fine. The chef cooked them adequately. The fried rice was terrible. When cooked and placed on our plates, it was flavorless. It was simply rice heated through with some scrambled egg in it. Not a great start. This restaurant also cooks noodles on the flat top (two starches??), which was OK. The chef had a pile of veggies which he cooked and served. I was surprised at the small amount of veggies placed on our plates. I literally had a few pieces of zucchini, a piece or two of onion and that's it. At least my wife had a few teeny tiny pieces of broccoli. Very disappointed with that and usually the restaurants give you more veggies than you want. You won't get that here. We did order several sushi rolls to go but haven't tried any of it at the time of this review. All in all, we spent 200.00 on dinner and was overall disappointed. Sadly, we will not return to this restaurant. I will have to travel to other cities to try other Japanese steakhouses.

We always loved Wasabi, but lately they have just been doing down hill fast. We have been told by the owner before that we need to start making reservations to secure a table. That’s fine but when we called recently to make a reservation, the owner said that it’s slow on sundays and that we don’t need a reservation. We came in and found that the hibachi side was completely full. We spoke to the owner to bring our concerns up, we were going to be fine sitting on the dining side but he started becoming very argumentative and saying that because we were not here at noon that he won’t help us. Because of the disrespectful way that he talked to me and my wife we will not be stepping foot inside this restaurant again. No apologies were given for this. It’s not anyones fault that they were full but the way we were spoken to was not ok

Appetizers and dinner here always good. Never sat on the hibachi side but always hear laughs and good times from over there. Highly recommend this place for dinner and a good drink.

Delicious and the service was fabulous!! The server rewarded our kiddos with ice cream on the house, it made them feel soo special. Definitely will be coming back soon!

Nice staff and they’re always willing to engage yet not too much. They’re sushi is always good, and recently, I tried their tempura udon which was surprisingly delicious! Warm environment with pleasant ambience.
