Went to Ted's to meet up with family friends and the service was wonderful. Got us seated right away and it was packed! Had the bison ribeye with veggies and it was cooked to perfection. The lemon drop martini was delicious!
This restaurant has a beautiful vibe on the indoor dining room, but today my first time I decided to sit on the patio. I had the Bison New York mid-rare and a side salad, as well as a huckleberry margarita with 1800 and the mixed berry cheesecake.Overall this was a decent experience. The steak was amazing, and the cheesecake was delicious as well. The salad was super basic and somewhat disappointing, but the lettuce was fresh. For the price I wasn't amazed, but I feel it would have been redeemed if the service was better.I came in by myself not so dressed up, and was disappointed at waiting 15 minutes for my second drink and not getting my salad until after the steak. I would come back again, but this is not a premier steakhouse in my opinion. There are many great steaks in Montana.
Came and order chips and dip wonderful ! Husband order a burger it was delicious well worth it !! Staff was friendly and quick. Atmosphere was pleasant and quite . Would go back for another time
Great place full of happy customers. I had bacon egg cheeseburger (beef) with fries and a brownie scoop of vanilla ice cream. Yum. Great service once i figured out where the hostess was. Note do not go to bar to left. They will mislead you to wait in lobby for a hostess to seat you in Ted's
Had an excellent Rib Eye, baked potato, and salad wedge tonight at the bar and was served by a nice bartender. When I approached the hostess on arrival I could not understand her. She had a speech impediment or was talking so fast that I could not understand a word from her mouth. . She did not make you feel appreciated or welcome I never saw a warm smile on her face. She just wanted me to go away. A young male that was assisting her both were speaking at the same time and you could not understand anything. I finally ask for the manager and she abruptly told me to go into another area to keep this area open. Just a complete B...H But the area we were in was empty and I was just standing waiting for less than a minute. before he arrived and explained that they were about a 1-hour wait and the tables in the bar were used for reservations but open seating at the oval bar was available. Some people do not have the qualifications to be a hostess and businesses lose customers
Went there in the early part of September for dinner. The hostess tried to seat us outside but it was cold and we insisted we wanted inside. She sat us right next to the patio door but we moved to a table further away from that door. Every single time a wait-staff opened that damn door, a cold blast would blow in. Everyone seated within 30 feet of the door would look at the person and their body language would say "what the hell are you doing?" We told at least two of the waiters to avoid opening the door but they didn't care. People at the bar were even moving farther into the restaurant. They were cold also. Yeah, we remember that place really well. The wait staff sucked. What do they care? A bunch of college kids working in a restaurant. They're hot but the guests who pay the tabs froze their ever-loving butts off. I'm sure Ted would like to know how his staff is treating his guests.
Manager of our hotel in Gardiner recommend Ted's. We had the Bison chili, short ribs & ribeye! ALL were excellent. Wish I had room for more. Highly recommend ?
We came here for lunch and the restaurant had families and travelers so I knew the place was good! We got the Bison Ribs, the 3 burgers, bison nachos. The ribs were very tender but we've had better seasoning. The burgers were all very very good. The Bison nachos tasted like nachos!
Loved it! Great stop in Bozeman. The bison options are what attracted me here. There are many food options here as well. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, great service, and I enjoyed the food, so tasty. I ordered a bison burger, very tasty, and my brother ordered the bison meatloaf, which I got to try, also very tasty. Great stop for family, friends, and date night.
We came here for some good steak and we were not disappointed.\\n\\nI ordered a bison filet 8oz for $40 and side of shrimp with it for $9.50 as it was offered to me when I was ordering. Others ordered rib eye 14oz for $37 and a bison burger. They asked me and the others how they wanted their steak but didn't ask about the meat for the bison burger.\\n\\nWhen everything was delivered, it was spot on except the bison burger was well done. We told them we wanted it cooked medium. They picked it up and cooked a new one which seemed like a 10 minute wait. I think the manager brought it over to us and apologized, however it was still well done. My son just ate it anyway, but was unhappy with the burger. He ended up trying some of the rib eye in which he thought it tasted fantastic.\\n\\nFor the price, we would have liked a little more attention on our food, especially if it was cooked wrong and we never got a follow up to make sure we were happy with the replacement. The waitress was great otherwise and we enjoyed our food and stay. I gave it a four due to the bison burger issue, however I would still recommend eating here.
