I love chicken fried steak and my favorite place to get it is at Super Chix in the city. The last few times I've been there, the restaurant hasn't been very good. The floors were a mess, or they were out of my favorite chicken fried steak, or the service was terrible. The last time I went there, the floors were clean and I got my chicken fried steak. The service was great and I had a great time. I'm not sure if they hired new people or if they just got their act together, but I hope they keep it up!
It just so happened that I noticed the word Buffalo style something, and mentioned it too the guy waiting on me, said it was the name of my hometown. He said his mother was born in Buffalo! Anyway, he was great, I got the salad with the fried avocados. I never heard of such an insane thing. It was crazy delicious. Too much salad though I couldn't eat the whole thing and I only ate one half of the avocado. Frankly, they have a great big gigantic lump of cheese on the avocado. Not crazy about that part, I could do it just a little bit of cheese or no cheese, but honestly it was crazy good. Nice place. I was confused by the word custard. To me custard is like a pudding with a lot of eggs. Apparently what they call custard here in Bozeman is what we call soft serve ice cream at home. Anyway it was a nice experience. It was pricey though. $17 for a salad with chicken and avocados.
Yummy!! I always love how crispy and tender the chicken is. It's so good, I'd stuff myself silly if it wasn't for the dessert!! Make sure you save room for the frozen custard, it's decadent and silky!
We love the food here, that is important to say. I keep going back because of the food. But the service is HORRIFIC. We ordered pickup and was told 15 minute pick up. An hour and 15 minutes after that time, we were told it would be another 40 minute delay. When I asked for a refund I was reprimanded by the manager and told "maybe you should apply here then". I have gone back for the food after similar experiences here but it's clear the employees don't care about their place of business.
First time eating here and the food was good. The chicken reminds me of Chick-Fil-A, the coleslaw was good and the Cajun fries were fresh and seasoned just right. I really enjoyed it.
Fairly clean place, decently fast service. The chicken sandwiches are good, and the frozen custard is great (though a bit messy) great place for a fast, hot, and tasty bite.Highly recommend the stuffed fried avocado whether on a sandwich or a salad.
First off I have to say the chicken was pretty good, not dried out or tough and the kids really enjoyed it.There was a bit of a wait 25 min. or so but being short staffed like everywhere else, it was plain to see that the staff was working as fast as they could and doing a good job. However Patti needs to go. She was very rude and argumentative when it was brought to her attention that a component of the kids meals was missing. I spoke with the manager Don regarding her behavior and hope appropriate action will be taken. Not only did Patties behavior cost them additional sales at the time it was our first visit and will not be returning.
My family and I picked up food to go this evening and drove 10 minutes home. When we unpacked our $40 dinner, we were not impressed. The large order of pickle chips was a soggy mess. We even tried to save them by putting them in our air fryer. Unfortunately, they went into the trash. The rest of our food had similar issues with sogginess. The overall quality is just not good. We won't be spending our money there again.
Absolutely delicious!! First time I've ever went to a fast food restaurant and the food looked like the pictures. And tasted just as good.
This is the best restaurant I’ve ever been too. I thought I liked chicken sandwiches before, but this opened my eyes into a new dimension. No one else’s chicken even comes close to comparing. I love you superchix. Can I buy some merch? The peanut oil is an added bonus. When I die I want my body to be fried here and spread my ashes in booth #38
