Limited gluten free options. But the main issue was bad or lazy attitude. One of our party never got his meal. When we pointed this out we got excuses. The waiter was too busy, the kitchen was too busy. We got a real ‘bummer dude’ vibe. We waited 30 minutes it never came we asked for the check the waiter said “oh I guess I’ll have to take it home.” No one apologized, asked how they could make it up to us. There are plenty of good places to eat in Missoula, this isn’t one of them
I have been coming to this wonderful place for many years. They have been around long before Bozeman became the "it" place. Drinks are incredible, service is always stellar. I appreciate that the owners decided to retain much of the old west style high ceilings and brick, but modernized it in such a chic way. You can't go wrong here.
5 stars because of my main dish and the service. 4.5 stars for the appetizer and cocktail. The meal itself was delightful. I asked for my steak to be medium rare and it actually was! The warm olive appetizer was just ok. The pickled vegetables were overly salty, but otherwise ok. The cocktail (Mexican sweater) was a bit too sweet for my taste. The service was on point and my server had wonderful wine recommendations. Will be back!
Utterly delicious steak and wine and hip look and feel to this popular Main Street place, but let down by some (we think) isolated rowdy diners and really slow service from the kitchen. The waitress gave us some complimentary bread and olive oil which kept.the wolves from the doors. We would return but go earlier and avoid the back which wasn't as bright and as the front of the restaurant.
My favorite place I have ever eaten, I got the monk fish and it tasted incredible, my mom got the short ribs, and they where cooked perfect, and the gnocchi was crazy good. My dad got the steak and it was cooked perfect. The tastes in these foods where so interesting, especially the carrot puree, we got 2 appetizers that where super I threshing and tasted great, the anchovies had so many great flavors and the steak tartar was super interesting and tasted really good
We ate dinner our one night in Bozeman here. The atmosphere was very friendly as was the service. They offered a very diverse wines by the glass choices. My wife got the trout sliders, which is a starter but we ate a late lunch so she wasn’t that hungry. She enjoyed them very much. I got the chicken pot pie which was quite excellent. Part of the order the couple we were traveling with was messed up but quickly made right. Overall a very nice meal.
If I could do 10 stars I would. The food and cocktails were amazing. Everything was so well balanced, fresh, cooked and made perfectly! We were so impressed we food commentated the entire meal trying to figure out the subtle spices and flavors.Plonk is a MUST try!!!
Cool atmosphere. Great cocktails and friendly staff. The g.f.c. cocktail is what it's name suggests!
Such a cute spot. They carry wines from all over the world and have some stiff, original cocktails as well. Snacks are available for munching and their dinners are yummy too.
Stopped in for a bite and a drink and it was so good we just stayed. The service was friendly and knowledgeable. The atmosphere was lively and the place was hoppin' . Everything we tried was original and tasty, so no specific recommendations, but the deconstructed dessert was spectacular, so save some room. The cocktails, usually the first priority for me, were solid, but man, that dessert.....so good.
