We love Famous Dave’s but tonight our potions were all significantly reduced - the salads were much smaller. My husband usually gets 2 pieces of chicken and tonight it came with one. The burnt end appetizer had 10 inch pieces on the $14.99 appetizer.

Amazing! From the service to the appetizer to the salad and entree! It was the best meal we have had on our travels from Florida! Our server Michael was awesome and Sidney the manager came over and talked with us for a while and he and my husband are both Veterans. It was such a great experience we’ll definitely be back before we leave at the end of June! Thank you for the experience! Cindy & Rickie
Server was excellent. Seating was slow but as you walked in a sign warned you they were understaffed and seating would take a while. Everything was as good as Famous Dave's food is. The bread putting is excellent
Good but not great. Still ... not many options for BBQ in Bozeman.At least it's better than Dickies!The service is good, but slow. And the kitchen is slow, too. But this isn't because the employees aren't good, they're excellent!But they clearly don't have enough help and I'm not sure how well the location is managed.As BBQ goes the food is better than average, but not "Wow! We have to go back!" level.The cornbread muffins are really good, but they're stingy with them. IF you order an entree you get ... one. If you order a platter for 3 you get ... 2 muffins. And you can't order extra ones as a side. Which is dumb. And there's no butter ... no honey - not that the muffins need it, but still... it's... weird.The sauces are pretty good.If a Texas Roadhouse moved to Bozeman Famous Dave's would close in a week. (And that's even IF Texas Roadhouse keeps doing that very awkward Employee Line Dance ... seriously, TR, that needs to stop.)There's room for both, but Dave's would need to make some adjustments to survive. Figure out your identity, focus on what you're great at, and improve.And pray that a Joe's BBQ never moves here.(In fact, your corporate people should all visit Joe's. Lots of learning could happen.)
The food was amazing, and the service was wonderful. I definitely suggest getting the ribs! Our server, Caleb, was so friendly and helpful, and it was a great experience.
Coming from the south I had to give Famous Dave's a try. I heard mixed reviews about it but thought why not give it a go. Was not disappointed! I order the chopped pork and it was very flavorful and tender. The cornbread was like cake, sweet and flavorful. I know Dave's is a chain restaurant but I'd definitely would give it a try if you're in town.
Stopped in and sat next to the fireplace which was nice, ordered wings and a drink. The bartender/server was great and overall it was a great time.
Yes this was a wonderful dining experience! The staff were courteous and our server was absolutely one of the best I've ever had. Her name was Lexi! The food was GREAT Bar B Que and the general manager- Joe- absolutely made us feel relaxed and comfortable as if we were at home! I cannot say enough good/ great things about Joe & his crew! Give'm a try if your in Bozeman.
Possibly one of the worst service experiences to date . Went to Famous Dave's tonight with the family and our drink order was taken she brought out our drinks my son spilled his drink we cleaned it up before the waitress came back she saw the napkins and empty cup and didn't bother to ask if we needed a replacement. Food came out and it was over cooked and parts of our orders were missing .had to ask for silverware was also asked if we needed a mop to clean up the mess . We asked about the missing items she stated that she would bring it out if we were still there . We left paid for extra muffins and didn't receive them either. Food and service have gone downhill as of late won't be returning anytime soon.
