I wish I could leave this review with 0 stars. I have worked in the food industry for over a decade in both fast food and regular restaurants and I have NEVER had this bad/dishonest of an experience. The dishonest part was we were told the price that we would be charged and then were charged over $5 more with no explanation. I had to look at the receipt and realized they left out information about upgrading sizes on combos. Then my girlfriend found multiple hairs in her food including a cup of sour cream. Needless to say I will not be going to that location again and DO NOT recommend anyone else do either!
The gentleman working the drive-through window during the mornings (Tuesday/Wednesday) is fantastic. He has the best customer service and makes sure every little detail is correct. This is now my new favorite taco place!
My husband and I went there last night and probably won't be returning for a while. I ordered a steak boss burrito and my husband ordered a six pack and a pound. We waited half an hour for our food. The staff used the excuse that they had a busy drive thru with big orders, but they had more than enough people to be working on drive thru and dining room. When we finally did get our food and we went home. I bit into my burrito only to find there was no meat in my burrito and the rice was either very under cooked or old because it was hard.
Wouldnt recommend unless you have 30 mins to wait for your food. Either they arent training employees to be proficient. Or they just don't care about their customers
Had the best customer service experience over the drive thru intercom (which is almost impossible). She was very personable and had a great attitude.
Like the title says, I have three other choices which are all closer to me, but I drive all the way across town to go to this one because the trip is worth it. They have the best employees, best management, and best friendliness of any of the locations in Billings. The thing I never do get over when I eat here is how much fresher things are than they are at Taco Bell, and don't forget Taco Tuesday where bean burritos and crunchy tacos are 99 cents! You can almost always find me there on Tuesday with a tray full of burritos and a big smile on my face. Pro tip: if you're new to Taco John's, the salsa is the best sauce they have in the non-cheese variety, and if you like hot but also like flavor, get three sides of salsa and one side of super hot, then distribute 1/3 of the super hot into each cup of salsa and you will have a very flavorful and quite spicy sauce to enjoy with whatever you order there. Don't be put off by the bad reviews, those are from many years ago and this is under New Management since those. It's worth the drive and the awkward location, give it a chance and tell the manager Russell sent you. :-)

What an amazing experience Harley took our order and was totally on point and even got us to buy a side of cheese. As someone who does work in sales up sales are portant quality I respect. And the manager on shift was so polite and cheerful her smile went a long ways also the Young man who was in lobby who went on right as we were leaving is an amazing young mango little rockstar!!!!!!! Keep it up guys ☺️ 100% the best on in billings even the state I feel distract manager should be noticing this place is amazing.
