Took forever to seat us when they had a bunch of open tables, water tasted like bleach and everything on the menu sounded the exact same
We must have stopped by on the wrong night. 2 young ladies working the front of the house were working their buts off. It seemed like they had no clue what they were doing other than just surving the night. We got there at 7 and it took about an hour to get our order taken while tables that came in after us were taken care of. When I ask for a water I was told they were wiring on clean up after 30 minutes the miso soup arrived. I ask for spoon and had to wait so the could get some clean ones. I was disappointed in the service and felt bad for the 2 working the font of the house. I hope they survived the night. Once thr rolls got there they were amazing.
The staff is always very kind. I usually go here in the evenings and there's usually been a 10-15 minute wait. There is a sushi bar, but I think you still have to be seated at it since I've walked up to it on my own and sat 5+ minutes without being acknowledged, until I went and got someone. I'd also say that part of the wait time has been due to tables not being cleaned off for 5+ minutes after customers left. It's not like the staff was standing around chit-chatting though, just very busy. The rolls are more expensive than a lot of other places but they are the best I've had not just in billings but many places in California. I definately love coming here when I feel like spending a bit more, it's worth it.
Easily the best sushi!! Fun and creative rolls that are so tasty. Ohhh and the KFC - has a sauce so magical, I wish there was some left for us to take home!!
NaRa has the best sushi in town! The service is outstanding 10/10 recomend!!
Most expensive sushi restaurant I’ve ever been to, and the quality of the food does not warrant the high prices. We had four rolls for over $80, and one of them was great. The other three were mediocre.
Best in Billings and one of best spicy tuna ever. Lots of fun and creative rolls as well.
Used to be great. Still decent if you dine in but prices are astronomical for the portions. If you order to go or for pickup they massively jack up the prices. $45 for a single rainbow roll through Uber eats is nuts. $7 for a coconut water… I went with the “cheaper” Philadelphia roll (one of the most basic rolls) and it was still $18, and most of it was pure rice. The other roll I ordered was yellowtail and it tasted so funky I couldn’t eat it without gagging. Seems like they really want to discourage anything other than dine in.
We drive from out of state to eat here. One of our favorite sushi restaurants, they never disappoint!
Best sushi in Billings!! Always consistently great food and service. I sometimes can’t believe we have such a tasty place to eat this far from the ocean. It is obviously the owners pride and integrity picking the best catch for his customers. Thanks NaRa for you consistency in taste and portions.
