The bagel sandwiches are amazing the Barista’s are always so sweet, never dissatisfied. Highly recommend the brown sugar oat milk latte….. so good
As a customer, their coffee is quite disgusting and the employees are often somehow pretentious and patronizing while simultaneously not knowing what they're doing.As a delivery driver, this place treats us like 2nd class citizens. not sure if different locations are under different management but this one is definitely the worst. orders are never ready on time and employees make little effort to help us get out quickly.
I appreciated the friendly and attentive staff, relaxed ambience, and the clean, well-lit facility. Ordered a large triple coffee Americano one cream, very tasty
I’ve been going to Mazevo’s for 6 years now and I’ve never really encountered a rude employee but I went through the drive through today and the male barista taking orders was rude and didn’t seem to care. I went in last week, he took my order and wasn’t very polite that day either. It doesn’t seem like he has the personality for it and maybe he needs to be trained on how to be positive and polite with customers? Just a recommendation but maybe have someone else take orders for the drive through.
This place has really gone downhill. Was arguably the best coffee shop in town. Had a mocha today. It was hot chocolate with 2 shots of coffee. I called to ask if they had newbies working the drive-thru window. Everybody needs to learn a new job. I do believe constructive feedback is useful. I did think they’d make it right for me. I got someone who told me that’s all a mocha is - hot chocolate with 2 shots of coffee. He told me he had been a barista for 25 years. I’ll bet Starbucks or City Brew really miss him. But a real barista would understand microfoam and how to steam milk properly. Not everybody can do artwork but I do expect a great coffee from Mazevo. I won’t go back. There are a few great baristas in town and fortunately I know where they are. Not here anymore.
I used to go to this Mazevo somewhat frequently prior to the remodel. The remodel looks clean, but I personally do not like all the white and I think it lacks personality.My biggest reason for my rating is in regards to the drive through. I go to the drive through almost every Monday night, and for the past month or 2 the drive through has been closed at most 15 minutes before closing.If you close the drive through early, I would appreciate that you provide postage of the drive through hours. That is, if it's being closed an hour before closing for example.
Great coffee & espresso, not so great chai & food. They just never mix the powder properly so you always get a mouthful of powder. Their croissants and pastries are good but the burrito usually has still raw potatoes in it. Still a good coffee shop, hopefully they can continue to improve!
Nice coffee shop! Wonderful place to just sit back with your laptop read a book and enjoy many coffee beverages. They also serve food and have wonderful breakfast burritos. I would also recommend trying the white chocolate caramel frappe
I went to Mazevo to have a coffee with a family member visiting town. I ordered around 8:20. It was 9:00 before my order was ready. Multiple guests checked on their orders as well. Only 2 people were working and it seemed the drive thru was taking priority over patrons in the building. My recommendation would be to either close in door seating or the drive thru. Based on the lack of service, Mazevo was ill equipped to do both.
Got a burrito a few days ago and it was good all the way through. Then I had a burrito and my wife got one as well and they were both pretty bad. The bacon and potatoes weren't fully cooked and her tortilla has something up with it. She didn't say what and it was in the trash before I could see it.Love the coffee and the shop itself is nice on the iinside. I'm not sure of the food issue is just not enough staff or bad training, but they should probably take it off the menu until it's resolved.
