Great costumer service! My Husband was on a liquids only diet for the day. We had to travel four hours just to get Billings. The rich broth Hokkaido uses is filling and nutritional. They didn't even think twice about Him ordering just the broth. I am so thankful. The poor man was starving.
Hokkaido is amazing, always has great service, and the food is top notch. They're consistently understaffed and still pumping out delicious food. 10/10 definitely recommend

First off the spicy beef ramen was excellent, but the sushi left so much to be desired. The spicy tuna roll had a color akin to a red velvet cake, and the volcano roll was like mushy bread. Calamari was tough and fishy.. The prices weren’t horrible, but they should probably do an overhaul on the sushi or get rid of it entirely.
We have a Hokkaido in Kalispell. Good experience and would be happy to eat there again. Here not so much...Flat broth when I should have gotten their deep bone broth that I loved the first time. Awful spicy tuna roll that looked like cat food rolled in rice.New server but that doesn't excuse them never showing their face at out table. The cherry on top is they have nice chopsticks in house yet we were only allowed wooden ones.Horrendous. The people we brought will never eat there again.
Very tasty food. Full table service. Wine and beer.The tantanmen ramen was outstanding.Service was fast and pleasant.4.5 stars.
This place is amazing. Best ramen I’ve ever had. Warm staff and prompt service.Shoutout to manager Jen (hopefully I got your name right) who took ownership of an issue and provided me with outstanding customer service. 10/10 would recommend!
Hokkaido is one of my favorite places to eat in Billings. I’ve been several times and brought friends and family to experience the amazing food and awesome staff. However, my experience tonight was pretty terrible. My fiancé and I were greeted and seated in the wonderfully friendly manner that we have come to expect at Hokkaido and once we had given our order we did not see our server for another 40 minutes. Our appetizers and drinks were served by other staff members (Rich is absolutely amazing!) and after we had waited at a food-less table our server came to ask how our food was. Mind you the 3-4 other tables that she was serving had been seated with or after us all had food and were well on their way to being done. When we told her that we had not gotten our entrees and it had been 40 minutes she quickly said she would check the kitchen. When she came back she explained that there was one order ahead of ours and offered to give us a discount. We had prior engagements so we could not wait for the food any longer and we asked for the check. I don’t mind waiting for food, I’ve been in her shoes so I’m not upset that she forgot our order. What frustrated me was that even though her mistake was obvious she did not acknowledge it or apologize. It was very poor service and I was disappointed. Had she admitted it and then apologized then it would have made the situation so much less awkward and less tense rather than laying the blame on the kitchen.Like I said, it’s one of my favorite places and the staff is typically awesome but tonight service was super disappointing. I certainly hope this was a one time thing for this restaurant. Do better please!
First time here, decided to try something new to celebrate our anniversary. Our waitress was precious & bought our lunch as her parents celebrated their 25th & she was unable to be with them so she did this for us. It was very special & made our day. Unfortunately, didn't have a name tag so can't give a proper shout out but the nice one...that'd be her! and the food was good!
Food is amazing! We got 3 different types of ramen, gyoza, bang bang shrimp, and a sushi roll. We loved all of it and we think it's worth the money.The service was bad. We didn't get refills and had to remind the waitress to bring us everything multiple times. Also, the women's bathroom was out of order so we had to use the men's. The tank of the toilet flooded the bathroom when I flushed the toilet.We liked the food enough and if you don't need to us the bathroom you will probably have a good experience.
