Edit: Since the event and original posting the owner of the local store reached out and discussed options to making the situation right. Upon correspondence a settlement outcome was agreed upon.Original post: We recently had Dickeys BBQ cater our wedding and what a headache it has been and on multiple levels. Our original quote/booking was done via their corporate services in February with everything finalized on our order and paid in full prior to the event in June. Day of our wedding the catering staff arrived at the venue with 2 out of the 9 trays of their taco platters that we had ordered for our guests for cocktail hour. Upon speaking with a staff member on site they went back to the store and returned with an additional 2 trays and at that point had the audacity to ask if we wanted the remaining 5 trays that we had already paid for and that they were ready to go. Said staff member left to retrieve them and never returned. The remaining staff members on site proceeded to tell us that the food for our order was taken to fulfill other orders for the day. Putting aside the fact we were left with minimal appetizers for 155 guests we made it to dinner service where they failed to deliver an entire order of selected side. In going into the local store the following Monday we were informed by the acting store manager that they had to feed over 1000 people on that single day and that we didn’t get our side salad because they ran out of lettuce. Since the event we have been given the run around by both the local store (which mind you is located directly across the street from our wedding venue) and the corporate office in attempting to get a refund for the copious amount of food ordered and paid for but never delivered. This entire experience has been less than stellar in the customer service department and the only reason why a 1 star rating is warranted is on account of the food that was delivered being good. Really hoping to get our money back or at this point even a call back for that matter. Very disappointed and will surely not be recommending their catering services to anyone anytime soon and apologizing to our guests.
I love this bbq spot! They are right in the heart of downtown Billings so you have to navigate the one way streets to get there. But the staff are always friendly, it's clean, and has a nice atmosphere. They even offer delivery if you don't want to eat in, which is super convenient for me. Definitely a must stop for lunch or dinner!
Dickeys BBQ catered our wedding. They were so great to work from taking our order to bringing everything to the venue and getting everything set up. They stayed through dinner and put everything away in the coolers. They were very professional and friendly. The food was absolutely delicious and highly recommend using them for your wedding or catering needs.
I wanted to love it. Ordered the 3 meat plate with ribs brisket and jalapeno kelbasa. The ribs were dry and that sauce they give you on the side is like a watery vinegary bbq sauce. It didnt help the dryness of the ribs or brisket. The sausage was good no issues there. The slaw while fresh and crisp yes was swimmng in the dressing, i mean swimming like little tadpoles in a pool i had to drain it then use the fork to drain every bite. When i realized this was a chain i realized my mistake. Why did blues have to be closed on the day i was passing through billings? I shoulda gone to dinosaur, they have better quality standards. Wasnt too pricey so i cant complain, ill just consider it a lesson learnt

We recently catered Dickey’s for our son‘s graduation party and it was amazing food - but even better was the amazing customer service! Would highly recommend for an event!
My family and I got the “Family pack” and it was Awesome! Burnt ends and Ribs are our favorite! Food was amazing, as well as the staff! We eat here often! If you’re unsure where to eat, I highly suggest you giving Dickeys a Try!
This is the place to eat BBQ! I can smell the aroma a block before I arrive! I love the pulled pork ...(Who am I kidding? I love it all!!!)
Kelbasa and ribs were great, but brisket was on the dry side, I'm not sure how that's possible at a BBQ place during dinner time. Cookies were factory made. Sides were good. Overall good value for money.
I LOVE the bbq sauce❤️The meat is always on point!Friendly staff, and great atmosphere. Will definitely be back!
