I know that they’ve been short staffed recently, and that’s fine, but paired with the terrible customer service, this place really isn’t that great. I got a shake, and the two employees broke the mixer and couldn’t find out how to put it back together. The one ‘manager’ employee was nonchalant with his coworker and simply handed me my singular shake after 10 minutes without apologizing or anything. Don’t go here if you want quality ice cream or service
The ice cream is good. But putting up a sign trying to shame non-existent people because you probably don't pay very well is ridiculous. Don't shame your present and future employees because you won't pay enough to retain the ones you have or can't hire new ones. A huge generation is going into retirement and over a million deaths from a pandemic is going to cause shortage of workers, and with a shortage of workers the power shifts. If someone doesn't want to work for bad wages anymore they don't have to.
Ice cream was fantastic, my 6yr old dropped her Ice cream as soon as she got to the table, didn't even get a bite of it. My wife cleaned it up and the staff replaced it for free refusing to charge me for the new one. We left them a good tip instead.
Bree and Allen are such wonderful kids. My wife and I stopped to get a milkshake and watched these two work their butts off. They had a line almost to the door but they both were all smiles and full of laughs while working hard.The ice cream is great, the employees are even better.
The sales lead on 3/8/22 at 8:25pm did not want to charge me for what I asked for. A like it with my ice cream separated. She wanted to charge me for two different ice creams. Never had this issue at other locations. And when I explained to her my order. She still denied that I can order that way.Still love the ice cream!
Dan and his wife are horrible owner they were stealing employees pay check that they work hard. They do not care about there employees and need to be shut down. There ice cream are not all that great either. I rather go to Baskin Robbins they have great selection to choose from and they treat u awesome. PLEASE BE ADVISED DO NOT WORK FOR THEM THEY ALSO OWN TWO MORE IN MONTANA
Chance at the billings west end location was great! Great customer service and very welcoming. The kind of employee that makes customers come back. Of course the ice cream was excellent as well.
I love cold stone and though there posted hours say open til 10 the doors were locked at 8. Workers were in there and the chairs were all up on the tables.
I purchased a birthday cake for my little guy and was confronted with the worst customer service experience I've ever had in Billings, MT! The manager was hostile, rude and condascending. It's apparent that Cold Stone doesn't care about customer service at this location. If I were you, I would take my money elsewhere like I will next time.EDIT** I contacted the franchise and the owner reached out to me personally to figure out how he could improve his storefronts and offered to send me a gift card for my troubles. I’ll be frequenting Cold Stone with that kind of customer service. 5/5 stars for the owner!
Ice cream was not all that good. Most of it was melted and the workers seemed very unmotivated and impatient. Counters were pretty messy and off-putting. When we walked in the employees were on their phones rather than cleaning when the place appeared empty.
