A must-do whenever we are visiting from Wisconsin. We love the choices of meat and the fabulous sauces. The "homemade" tortillas are great, or if you're keto / low-carb like me, get your entree in salad mode. Good eating!

I want to love this place more. I used to eat here religiously... but After the solid crew that had been there years left, everything quality left too. I haven't been back in a year, the place was so gross, kitchen gross, like we can see it so you'd think it would be better. I got a quesadilla that is normally worth while, I should have went to taco bell.. my tortilla was the correct size, it wasn't even round..thick. cut and looked like a complete massacre. Then a week later we tried it again, thought fluke, no even dirtier ... people looked like they hated being there my food was still not up to company par and was just a huge cry from what I know it CAN be.

I had went here with my boyfriend and he ordered nachos with shredded beef and some cheese, his shredded beef was soggy and he ended up throwing more than half of it in the trash. I had a quesadilla and got the grilled chicken on it, the chicken was literally burnt and I was tearing the burnt skin off and ended up only eating half of it and also tossing it. Also the lobby and drink area were unsanitary, definitely need to be wiped down here and there. Won't be back and don't recommend.

Traveling through and was craving chips and salsa!! It was delicious but the chips seemed a little stale. Love me some nino quesadillas too! Any time I’m near a Cafe Rio I have to stop!?

I ordered online. Drove 15 minutes there and still waited 30 minutes. I was laughing because 5 other people were waiting too. We all watched the people in line get served with no delays. It’s fast food quality and restaurant wait times. If you don’t mind fast food at a wait, it’s fine. But be prepared to wait.

I ordered a taco salad. I received no tortilla, no dressing, they put the wrong meat & beans. When I called to speak with a manager one gal put me on hold another one picked up told me I had to call back when a manager was there I asked when the manager would be there she told me it didn’t matter and hung up on me. Not sure how hard it is to follow instructions of what the customer wants and when I was entering to pick up my order staff were extremely rude to people ordering in line; doesn’t surprise me since the person that hung up on me was extremely rude!!!! I will never return! I would give zero stars if it was possible!

Ive kept trying to enjoy this place but their only consistency is that something will go wrong. Food is usually good, service is not there. Problems include having to wait for an online order for 30 minutes after I got there and no one was in line, getting cheated on protein and they tried to hide it with extra lettuce (my date got the same thing with a proper portion), always out of their signature drinks and still charging for them, rude customer service, an extremely dirty cook line, and getting my order wrong twice. My gift card ran out, im not coming back.

Average americanized mexican food. It's okay and satisfied your hunger. Some will rave about it others will turn their nose up. I found this particular locate strangely layout out. The majority of the seating is on the opposite side of the store from the drink machines.

This place usually makes awesome nachos. But it is very inconsistent! Some days they are great and other days I would rather eat dog food.Tonight they drenched, yes drenched 2 entire scoop fulls of sauce on my nachos.Really? Do you think anyone wants soggy nachos? And they dumped it on after my cheese was melted.I will ask for it on the side next time since the staff members lack common sense. The owner should get involved and make a procedure so toppings are installed in a order that makes sense and a quantity that won’t bankrupt the owner.Clearly the employees can’t think for themselves. It’s always pretty dirty too. The Missoula location was the same. It’s a shame, this place is great barbacoa and when they get your order right it is delicious.

In the past I have loved Cafe Rio’s food. I understand the staffing deficit entirely, but I will say if you are looking for a quick bite you may want to try something else as the lunch line here can on for a half hour or so. Additionally, food quality has gone down and the restaurant is hardly clean. I hope this place can make a come back!
