This place is literal GARBAGE. Want to get chicken from Popeyes? Don’t go here. Not only did the forget an entire sandwich from my order BUT the ones they did remember were smashed into a tiny bag. The establishment should be leveled. Put up something worth everyone’s time.
This was the worst experience, the workers were fine. At dinner time you only have four pieces of chicken available. When I got home to eat the cole slaw tasted like it was several days old, Mac n cheese was only luke warm. The only for pieces of chicken available were three breast and one thigh. No chicken sandwiches available. I will never eat at another Popeyes again. This store needs to be closed and the workers moved to a different store
OMG. This place is so bad! I honestly don't know how they've managed to stay in business as long as they have, because they just do not care. When this Popeye's location opened near our home, we were excited to have a new fast food restaurant in O'Fallon. On our first drive-through visit a couple of years ago, EVERYTHING seemed to confuse the workers, and they got our order completely wrong. Then the food wasn't even good. We chalked it up to it being a new restaurant with all new employees, so we gave it a month or so and tried again. Second drive-through visit - since we hadn't been impressed with the food the last time, we decided to order items we hadn't tried yet, so we looked at their online menu and decided what new things we would try this time. When we got there, we were told that literally half of the items we tried to order weren't served there, even though we typed in the right location on the website to see the menu beforehand Also, the girl taking our order was constantly trying to give us our total. We were ordering for a family of three, and we kept having to tell her that we weren't finished ordering yet. She literally tried to give us our total after every single item we ordered, and she seemed very annoyed that we were taking up her valuable time. Then we waited forever to get our food, and once again, they screwed up our order. After a few more visits with things just getting worse and worse, we decided not to go there anymore. But, after many months, we decided to go back and see if things had gotten any better. This time, we decided to try ordering on the website and picking it up. We showed up at the agreed upon time to find that the lobby wasn't even open, so we still had to sit in the drive-thru lane and wait. Then we were told they hadn't even started our order yet, so we had to wait for them to cook our food. What's the point of ordering online? Every time we've been there, it's a new fiasco. For months, they weren't even able to take cash! I have no idea what that nonsense is about. Also, they have the surliest, rudest employees I have ever encountered anywhere, and instead of getting better, the problem is just getting worse and worse. I can just picture the interview process at this dump. "So you want to work at Popeyes. Are you of limited intelligence? How rude are you capable of being? Because we really pride ourselves on our laziness and rudeness here. Can you act completely put out that anyone expects you to do anything? PERFECT!!! YOU'RE HIRED!!" I wish I could tell you that the problem is that they're short-staffed because of Covid, but that would be a lie. This place opened well before Covid, and the problems have been pretty consistent the entire time they've been open. Avoid this place like the plague! Service is slow and inaccurate, the workers lack basic intelligence and communication skills, and the food just isn't very good. And as if all of that wasn't bad enough, despite numerous poor reviews on both Yelp and TripAdvisor, nothing changes, and management doesn't bother to even respond to any of the reviews. As far as I'm concerned, they clearly just don't care.
I have gone to this Popeyes location quite a lot of times since my wife really, really likes their chicken. Every time there is some sort of problem. Like others have said, dine-in is still not an option, you might get there and find the restaurant completely closed, you might wait a half hour to get through the drive through line and find they don't have any items you were going to order, they are likely to get the order wrong, and you might even get attitude from the people working there. I would liken the experience as bad or worse than going to any establishment in eastern Europe before the fall of communism - stating that from experience. What the heck is going on? They have a nice location, the building is nice, the equipment from what I can tell is nice, and they have a good recipe. I am also sure not all of the employees are a problem. Those are the reasons I didn't give it one star, but also the reason I have to ask why they can't get this under control. So, why can't they get this under control?
Absolutely slowest drive thru I have ever seen. They can only take one order at a time and fill that order before taking another. Horrible. Waited 15 minutes to not even reach the order screen and there were only 2 cars in front of me. numerous cars left. Time before I stuck it out. 40 minutes. Then wouldn't take cash because they only had three one dollar bills. I had exact change. Absolute JOKE
Don't go here if you have to be somewhere. I used the drive through their dining room was closed. Service was terrible there were 3 cars in line ahead of me I though maybe 15 minutes but oh no 48 minutes later I had my chicken strips. Then had a glass of hot ice tea. Order was correct. The staff were overwhelmed the kitchen looked like a disaster when I looked in drive through window. Foul language was used poorest service I have ever had at Popeyes. This place desperately needs more supervision I visited at around 2 pm and not during the lunch or dinner hour. Also saw some people drive off.
This location is horrible - I’ve tried going multiple times with disappointing results every time. I’ve been to other locations without issue and love the food. But this location is ruining the Popeyes brand.
I have to give them 5 stars. I know this place is short staffed because they are not open all the time, which tells me they simply can't staff all shifts. I went through the drive thru to pick up dinner. The line, extremely long and slow moving. I get to the intercom and am thanked for my patience and am told he will be with me in just a minute. He takes my order, I pull to the window and am greeted with a smiling face and such pleasant personality. I learn it is him and his manager "Ms. B". running the show. They were so efficient and both so pleasant. Working together, getting people served as best they could. Thank you for smiling as you do your job & serve your customers under the circumstances.
Worst customer service EVER! if I could rate 0 stars I would. Lady at the cashier was extremely rude. Then walked away from the window. Another guy handed me the food. He closed the window and walked away immediately. I then asked for ranch, he stared at me, rolled his eyes and acted like I had asked the biggest task of him. These people should not be working at a business that deals with human interaction!!
4/5 only because I can never figure out when it's open. Chicken sandwiches are always good. Sometimes I get a coke instead of a diet coke. Drive through ends up being fine. Delivery usually has an issue. Never did online orders but I wouldn't recommend it here. Wait it out and make the drive if you want some Popeyes.
