I keep trying to love this place but just not happening. So I decided for the first time to try their app to order ahead. Placed the order and was sent a order number and was told to just go through the drive up and give them my number and Walla my order would be ready. Got to the restaurant and waited in line for way to long with hardly moving at all. Decided heck with this parked the car and tried to go in to just pick it up from the counter. Thought it would be no big deal since my options on the app was drive through or counter pick up. Went to go in and doors were all locked ugh! Got back in my car only to find I was now 11 cars back further than I was before. Nobody in this community and I mean no fast food restaurant except this one has no counter service. I have tried this place three times now and all three times have had issues. The previous two times the chicken was way over cooked and dry. May I recommend lees chicken I have never had bad settlor food from them. I will not be back to this place.
There's always something janky going on like cash only, half the menu missing, rounding up your totals etc but the food is usually great and they seem better than other Popeyes about not messing up your order. They're trying.
#1; Long wait at the drive thru! 1st visit I just left, the line wasn't moving!#2; No menu on the menu board.#3; Didn't get my order right though I paid for everything.#4; They don't have popcorn shrimp any longer.#5; I won't be back. (Sadly)
My last few visits have been positive so I figured I'd leave a review. Like most fast food places it seems like there is a staff shortage, so the wait can be pretty long during rush hour, but in my experience the employees are polite and patient, which is a big plus in my book (and increasingly hard to find). Twice I have been given MORE food than I ordered (extra tenders, biscuits etc.) and they always hook me up with lots of sauce cups. Of all the Popeyes I've frequented, this one is easily the most consistent and friendly.
I want to thank the employees here for the fresh delicious food. It's been a long time since my family and I ate Popeyes, and we enjoyed everything as well as the quick pleasant service. We will be back? I highly recommend this location. Thank crew!! Great job
It’s been a long while since I have been back to this location. I would come to this location regularly the service was always good. When Covid hit the lines were long. I can see that it has definitely changed a lot. I could only see 2 people working 1 was a manager another was an employee. The lady that helped in drive thru was very nice the manager was too. I ordered a 10 pc special meal. The chicken was good pieces were really small, red beans and rice were watery, coleslaw was ok not great but just okay. I’m not going to be negative with the comments for 2 people they made every effort to do their best to give good service. I just think the times we live in nothing will ever be the same with quality any where we go. I will continue to come back to this location the one in St Charles is not the greatest with service at all.
Horrible , gave me the wrong order and then would not answer the phone after countless calls. Inside was not open so I had to wait in the line all over again because they messed up my order. Then the manager comes to the window and says they are just going to have to refund me because they aren’t making any more chicken at 6:26PM on a Saturday. Horrible service , Did not take responsibility for messing up my order and did not seem eager to help. Save your money , whoever the franchise owner is needs to be ashamed to have people of such low caliber working at this establishment.
If I could Id post 0 stars. You never know what experience you’re going to get at drive thru. Terribly managed, had me wait in drive thru for close to 1/2 hr at intercom in dead silence, no hello or greeting. After 25 mins someone says we cant open at this time. Would have been nice if you said something, anything at all! If youre closed at least let people know with a sign or anything. Do yourself a favor and visit another Popeyes location.
Great food, the very, Skeleton crew of two limits there ability to run the restaurant, there is no inside dining the line through the drive-through can take a very very very long time because they only have two people inside the store here in orders and taking orders.
Tried the flounder fish sandwich & of course it was good. We also had the original chicken sandwich which is always good & huge. Fries are awesome, biscuits great & Mac n cheese also delicious
