Large meat lovers. Crust was crisp throughout the whole pizza. Toppings were very generous and it tasted fantastic. Our server was very friendly and attentive. Also, had their large special salad, which was great. Highly recommend.
My husband introduced me to Pirrone's 13 years ago. I ALWAYS order their cannelloni in white sauce. The white sauce is always thick and creamy, the cannelloni is always perfectly cooked, both the noodle and the meat filling. It is amazing. Twice within the past 2 months I have been totally disappointed. My first disappointment was earlier in June when I placed an order on my birthday for lunch carry out cannelloni & white sauce. (I usually bring my own lunch every day to work, so this was going to be a real treat.) I ordered online, paid, and drove to Pirrone's on my lunch hour from work to pick it up. I arrived and was informed that they were out of cannelloni since the day before, and they were just notified by the kitchen personnel. What???? So i ended up with cannelloni bites with butter sauce. After a short conversation, since it was a couple of dollars more, for the appetizer, they did agree not to charge me for it. Thank you. It was good, just not what I really wanted. My second disappointment is very recent. My husband and I went to Pirrone's for dinner, I even joked that I hoped they weren't out of cannelloni. They weren't, but once it arrived at our table, the sauce was thin and greasy, the noodle was undercooked, and the meat filling was overcooked and crunchy. What ??? I ended up eating the buttered bread. I will now need to find a different establishment for my cannelloni in white sauce fix, which is a shame........
delicious the quality was so good definitely get the sausage and onion pizza and the raviolis.. food is so fresh
Stopped by accidentally! Was going to Jack n Box next door, but their doors were locked. What a stroke of luck because I found this gem of a mom n pop! I would say it's a St Louis style, but a very nice differentiation w the crust that seemed hand tossed but still thin. Nice cheese blend as well. Recommended!
I wasn’t going to review but I have to now. I have never had a bad experience at either location but there was hair in my pizza . Server was amazing and refunded it but we took the rest to go to give to the homeless guy on the exit ramp… well I opened the box to show him, I noticed another hair !!! Good thing he just took it off and ate but gross !! I can see an accident of maybe one but who knows how many more there was after 2 found . I will not be back ! Server did not have her hair up either , this is food you are serving and cooking!
Used to be really good pizza years ago. Wanted to show my kid what good pizza tastes like after a trip to the Zoo. Got there a little before 9pm Friday and their sign said open 11am-11pm. Place was probably half full of people and hostess asked how many in our party. It was just the two of us. She turned to grab menus then turned back and said they just closed. Then argued with me that they had no sign saying open until 11pm when they did. Won’t be going back, and with their help wanted signs and existing employees that rude they likely won’t be coming back either.
It takes forever to get food here. The staff is not very friendly and could care less. Never brought our salads. Gave us wrong sodas. Fettuccine Alfredo tasted weird and dry. Garlic cheese bread was burnt with really no cheese. Others were complaining also. Place was dirty. The pizza was the only thing good.
Waited for an hour and 15 min for a cold burnt pizza. Bar tender/waiter was rude and filthy. Pizza was worst we have ever had.
Do not order carry out!!! You do not get all of your food! By the time you get an answer on the phone, your food is cold!! Not worth the money that you pay!! Manager does not care if the rest of your food gets cold by the time you get back with the rest of your order. $50 in cold food, I don’t think so! Took the food back after she finally said she would refund our money and then tried to giving us the missing items and no refund. Really??? Finally, she said she refunded money back to the card. Will be watching the statement!
Wonderful as always. I have been going to the perrone's in florissant for as long as I can remember. It's a great pizza place.
