Maybe I just caught them on a good day judging from the reviews, but I ordered from Doordash and I was blown away at the quality versus the Lake St. Louis Panda Express. My food all arrived hot and fresh despite needing at least a 20 minute job to get to my home. They weren't out of anything, the hours were correct, and my food came quickly through DD to boot.
I'm never, ever, EVER, going to this location again and I highly recommend avoiding it at all costs. Their service is sloppy and plain awful.I ordered a plate & bigger plate, was told an item for the bigger plate had 5 more minutes to cook, no big deal. 5 minutes turns into 10 minutes, 20 minutes, and somehow 20 minutes turned into an hour! I consider myself a patient person, but it was ridiculous. After 30 minutes the girl behind the counter said "while the other item is being cooked we ran out of the chicken in your order and it'll be another couple minutes", which by that point I knew it was a bald-faced lie. It took 25 more minutes.And the entire time the girl behind the counter kept going " I'm sorry, 5 more minutes" and it got irritating - sorry does not fix your mistakes. I wasn't even offered a drink, or an extra side, or even a coupon for having to sit there for an hour being lied to.And finally after staring at them the girl behind the counter and had the gall to hold up a bag saying "is this yours?", like, no one else was in line, I sure hope so! Wasn't offered any sauces, had to ask if everything was there - turns out it wasn't - and got another "sorry". Made me mad so I left with the food. Turns out it was all still wrong.Employees need better training, I work in food service with a bit more patience for other food service workers, and even I'm appalled. If I could give 0 stars I would.Never coming here again.
Done with you. First you stop serving brown rice. Now no longer white rice. Last night I was told you were out of white rice. Really? You had enough to make fried rice with. So I was going to get an egg roll instead. Oh, sorry. We don't have those. I will be supporting local chinese takeout from now on. Some place where they serve basic things like rice. This was not the first time this has happened.
The food took forever (Door Dash) to arrive and was clearly just sitting around. The food was bland and over cooked. But from all the 1 star reviews, this is common.
Rafael was very rude and had an attitude the whole entire time. He gave me old noodles that were very soggy and did not want to give me another order of fresh noodles.
Usually have good experience at Panda, but not this one. This time, drive thru only waited on one car at a time. Chicken tasted old.People were friendly.
Half the entrees were empty and there wasn't enough for more than one serving of others. When checking out, was told the soda machine was broken so the only choice for drinks was juice or bottled water

Food is always hot and plentiful. My favorite Chinese food establishment.
I love Panda Express yet they were closed tonight but it said open on the website. I am guessing this is because of short staff, but it would be nice to know before entering the mall.
