More fat than meat.Ordered some brisket takeout and it was more fat than meat.Huge soggy runs of fat throughout the middle of the slices.I understand brisket has some fat but they shouldn't be serving these poor quality slices to customers. Only reason I gave 2 stars was because the sides were pretty good (tots & beans). Still a rip off for what I got.
Wow! Upon entering this restaurant you will see a wall full of ribbons and trophies won for their BBQ.Our family got the sampler of ribs, burnt ends, and brisket. None of had a bite that was anything but sheer delight. Flavor explosions of sweet, savory, smoky, spicy, and tangy depending on the sauce you dredge your bite in. Great spot to eat even just passing through St Louis. The staff was super helpful in guiding us through choosing what to order and the food was delivered quickly!Thanks Heavy Smoke!
The photos speak for themselves- this place is seriously good. The potato salad is amazing- hot and creamy and not what we expected at all. Even if you hate potato salad just try it. Brisket was tender and moist. Usually when you get too many flavors in sauces I’m not a fan but these are balanced and amazing and the spicy pineapple is actually spicy in the best way. We go to a LOT of bbq places and this is Top 5 easy
We stopped here for lunch. I had pulled chicken, smoked beans and green beans. My husband had the 3 meat meal with fried chips and creamy coleslaw. We both choose the original bbq sauce. The chicken was very tender and tasted good with and without the bbq sauce. Both types of beans were delicious. The 3 meats my husband choose were the ribs, burnt ends, and brisket. The brisket had no fat on it, the burnt ends were delicious. He brought the ribs home with him for later. The coleslaw was good. The menu is on a board behind the counter where you place your order. You can get takeout and orders where someone picks it up for you. You get your own drinks. The cashier gives you a number and you find a table. The place is clean and largeBathroom is clean also. The menu is large with a kids menu. We definitely enjoyed the meal and the restaurant. We were there between 12 and 12:30 and the place was not crowded.
Wow! If you leave here hungry, that is your own fault. This place is full of pros. First off, the person who took our order and explained the menu turned out to actually be the owner. Awesome guy with a great positive attitude! Food was served quick and the portions are large, so have an appetite. The place is spacious, so if you are uncomfortable going out to eat, this will ease your mind as there is plenty space to spread out. The numerous awards around the dining area go to show that this place knows what they are doing! If I had to complain about anything, is I didn't like my sides served in paper boat type container. Seems to cheapen the meal. But trust me when I say, I can live with it. Do yourself a favor and drop by. 5 star all the way!
Had lunch here yesterday, and the name lives up to the hype. I was with a group of about 20 follow employees for a going away lunch, and - let me tell you - great smoked barbecue! I had the burnt ends plate and it was delightful, to say the least. Add the green beans and loaded potato salad, and it was a treat I relished. If you're in the area, and looking for something new in barbecue, I recommend this joint. Great food, great service, and great memories.
Their restaurant does not disappoint and it is easy to see how this team has managed to win such a high number of competitions! I recommend their pork and chicken and their brisket is delicious! Definitely worth the maze to get to their restaurant.
Great place for BBQ! They offer some amazing sauce flavors; such as spicy blueberry and spicy pineapple, that is to die for!Walls are covered with trophies from multiple places/states that very well represents their quality!

Food is amazing and if you're having troubles Jim is the man to ask . Had the chicken nachos and 3 meat combo ( brisket , burnt ends and sausage ) all I can say is if you like BBQ you can't go wrong with anything here
