I have never had an issue with this location. It has always been good quality and on time. Their fried chicken is mostly chicken, and not all breading, unlike the lake Saint Louis location. Their breading is also crispy, and not soggy like the Lake Saint Louis location. The Lake Saint Louis location has rude employees and the food is half the quality. Employees at this location are great. Switched to this location when I moved, even though both are about the same distance from me now. I'm now in between them. Do yourself a favor and drive the extra several minutes, between locations, you won't regret it. Their is a reasons for the difference in ratings. St. Peters is about 4.5 stars with nearly twice the number of reviews, the lake location is about 3.5 with about half the reviews.
Food is fantastic here. If you live further out in St. Louis county and you want that true St. Louis City authentic tasting rice. This is a great place to try. However, it is absolutely terrible parking. The layout of the establishment isn't really all that good either. And the cleanliness Is I the right at, or right under average. But all of this is made up with fantastic food. They are very much on the pricey side of things as well. I can't tell you what their bathrooms look like because now it's basically a order and leave restaurant now. You can't really sit down and eat there anymore. This restaurant is only recommended if you do not feel like driving into the city for rice.
I am a chef in the restaurant business for 22+ years. I don’t write reviews unless it is one of the best places I can recommend for good consistent food. They are super fast and the food is always fresh and amazing. It’s the best Chinese takeout in St. Charles county. The crab Rangoon is handmade and full of filling. The filling actually has crab in it. Other places have just cream cheese and maybe a flex or two crab. I order here often for over ten years and have never been disappointed. If your looking for that classic American Chinese takeout place there is no place better. You won’t be disappointed. I can’t say enough about how much I appreciate and enjoy the food.
Best local Chinese food available quickly. You do have to watch and check your order as we have received the wrong orders rice and dish at times.
Place is pretty inconsistent. I've lived near it for about a decade and when I first moved here I tried them out and they were absolutely terrible. thinking of them as the "Really bad Chinese place" I would avoid them and go well out of my way if I wanted Chinese.I decided to give them a chance again last month and was surprised how good that meal was, visiting a couple times again in the next month.Today was absolutely the last time I do. I went there and got the same thing I always do and it tasted like actual sewage was in the food. I'm not the type to take food back to a place if it's bad, I either deal with it or just throw it out and this was the latter. While they can serve really good food there's some type of inconsistency in the way they cook that makes this a place I'll likely never go back to.
First time here, the layout of the restaurant was a bit off, but ok. I got fried rice & some near the bottom was hard. Not sure if I’ll try them again or not.
Place is pretty darn awful. Ordered vegetable Lo Mein and received tupperware full of noodles…No veggies. Wife’s chicken was beef jerky. Only thing worth eating is the rangoons. Fortunately, I have Aldi nearby that sells better frozen lo mein.
This is our favorite Chinese take out! The crab Rangoon are so good, and so is their garlic chicken!
Most inconsistent food ever. One amazing, today...burnt wings, unercooked chicken in what is SUPPOSED to be orange chicken(flavorless) should call health dept and to top it offFORGOT THE CRAB RANGOONYea, we wont be back!
I LOVE Green China! The food is always consistent and they make THE BEST crab Rangoon, it is somewhat sweet and I am In love. Of course that is my opinion.
