Always great to try the burger of the month. Taco Tuesdays are solid but the wings are the best. Great beer selection and good bartenders!
Drove all day was tired and hungry got to the hotel about 10 pm and saw this place was supposed to be open til 12am. Pulled on the door handle and the place was locked up tight and staff was still inside. Don't believe what you see on the door.
The Gettemeier Sliders are life! I always ask that the red onion be sautéed/grilled vs raw & I have never been disappointed. The hawaiian rolls = ? The sweet potato fries [my usual side] with Gettemeier's house made caramel dipping sauce is amazing!!
Friendly service from our server the entire time we dined in on a Monday for lunch. We ordered drinks fairly quickly and then waited a few minutes before deciding what the 4 of us would order for food. Unfortunately despite the place not being overly busy, it took FOREVER for us to get our food to the table. No one ordered anything too crazy: a Cuban sandwich, pork tenderloin sandwich, smoked wings and a cheese steak sandwich. Perhaps they were short handed in the kitchen that day. The bright spot was our server, she was awesome! We'll be back, and hopefully next time things will go a little quicker for a weekday lunch.
Walked in and was treated like family. It was pretty busy but it didn't take me long to understand why, service was amazing! Food was out of this world! I could tell our server was busy but she still made us feel like we were her only party. Everyone, from the bartender, manager, and servers were so awesome with us! 100% know where to call ahead for a party or just come in to catch a game over lunch.
Great local bar with fantastic food. They have a really good happy hour and good late night crowd too. The owner takes time to get to know the customers and makes you feel welcome!
On the overall ok, had the whisky burger added bacon sauce was great the bacon was not hot. Nor the frys and the food took forever .the waitress was very nice but could have been more attentive really needs to improve has great potential just tweek it up
Our first time ever to Gettemeier's today (3/13/22). Played the new Golden Tee PGA Edition. Awesome place. Great appetizers. Very friendly staff. We will be back. Fore!
Great family-owned atmosphere. Wait staff is always friendly and fast. Food is always great and correct and served quickly even when they're busy. Remember frequenting the Florissant location and was surprised to see the bartender is still with the company from 20 years ago and just as friendly as ever!
Nice local spot. The atmosphere is very casual and like a typical bar. Good music and TV’s for sports. For local sports teams they usually play the TV audio, otherwise it’s music.Food is above average for sure! Some items are better than others, but if you stick to the classics you’ll be happy. Some of my favorites are the House Wings and Black and Blue burger. Pork tenderloin sandwich is a must try. Fried green beans are also really good as an appetizer or side. Pasta dishes are tasty, too.I wasn’t a fan of the whiskey burger or sliders. The Jack’s glaze is sweeter and was overpowering. Sliders come on a what I think was a Hawaiian roll, which I wasn’t a fan of.Service has been good so far. No complaints there. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area.
