We gave DeRienzo's a go based on the first review. I figure it could go good or very bad. You better do yourself a favor and come get some pizza here. It is delicious! We will be back!
$16 for a large pepperoni. DeRienzo’s won the first annual St. Louis Square Off competition. This is my first time having it. It’s not bad, but nothing special. Crust edges have a nice crunch. The bottom is a bit overfloured for my liking. Friendly staff.
Never again. Waited over an hour for food then left.Update: The owner addressed our long wait and made things right. Excellent ownership and service. We did get our pizza to go and we will definitely give it another try. The pizza is wonderful!
Pleasant, typical neighborhood pub & grub. Helps if you want to see a local pro sports team on the TVs.
The veggie pizza had far too many olives and jarred mushrooms. The crust was pre-made and the anchovies on the sausage pizza were so strong, you couldn't taste anything else. Huge disaster meal. I'm all for bar food but it would be a challenge to drink enough to enjoy this.
We had a lovely family meal on Mother’s Day. (Aside from the insanely loud group of older couples in the corner) The staff was kind and attentive and offered our kiddos some snow cones at the end of the meal. We had Pizza, salad and toasted ravioli and everything was very, very good.
Super delicious tavern style pizza! Bartender was new but very friendly and prices were great for food and drinks!
We let the owner know we'd have 15-20 people stopping by Thursday 4/14. Amy had tables waiting for us AND made us a cake! Friendly staff and excellent pizza. We'll be back!
Honestly surprised at how good our deluxe pizza was all three times. Their sausage is out of this world and the ingredients are super fresh. Crust is superb. I'm glad we found this gem and really enjoy DeRienzos. PS- we were on a mission to find best pizza in St. Peters/St. Charles. Thus place is definitely at the top closely followed by Dewey's and Mellow Mushroom. My only drawback is it's pretty hard to get wine or alcohol when they are busy, which they are honest about upfront since some of the staff are under age to serve. I'm not one of those folks that needs a drink when going to get pizza, but at the end of a long day, it's nice to have a drink with your food. :)
Food is Amazing great place for good food and sports on TVs. Wings are Amazing and the pizza is great. They have dart board and a few prize viewer games as well. Good amount of seating and the staff is on it. Bartenders are friendly and get it right. Food is a bit pricey tho but what isnt now. Good atmosphere weather you want a table or grab a drink at the bar always feels comfortable here.
