Great Italian place! Make sure to order the fried ravioli! My aperol spritz was delicious, and a perfect antidote for the 100 degree heat. House salad and dressing was an excellent mix of sweet and savory, with plenty of cheese.I ordered the chicken with mushrooms and prosciutto. The sauce was both creamy and garlicky with a hint of sweetness, and it had a nice burn from the red pepper flake. The side pasta with garlic butter and oil was almost as good as my entree! Perfectly cooked shells complimented the main dish well.Left very happy and full.

Visited here because of the show “Fresh fried and crispy.” We had a great time here and will be willing to come back if we visit St Louis again! My husband and I arrived around 8pm on Friday and waited about 20mins to get in.Ordered both arancini and toasted ravioli. They were both great. I liked arancini more because I enjoyed the combination of the creamy fried rice ball with tomato sauce. Toasted ravioli was more for meat lovers. The dressing on the house salad was just so amazing and a great refresher after the fried appetizer. Definitely recommended it.We also had Mostaccioli Al Forno. The portion was very big and we almost couldn’t finish it. It was very creamy with my favorite baked cheese and some veggies.People think of BBQ more than Italian food when it comes to visiting St Louis. However, I think this was our favorite food during our trip in St Louis. I am glad we came here!

Meal was okay, just ordinary Italian. Service was not tip top from seating to food. The calamari was really good and the white sauce on the side pasta was good.

UPDATE/EDIT: Manager proactively reached out to me to apologize, which I appreciate (and which you do not see happening too much these days from other places.) Food has always been good in the past, so I can understand how anyone can have an off day. Was having a bad day myself which I'm sure led to some of my dissatisfaction. We will be giving them our business again in the future. My daughter loves the portabella ravioli.----------------------------------------Three issues with my recent visit:1. Your website and phone system both state that curbside pickup is available. Submitted online order, went to pick it up, called as instructed by the email I received and was abruptly told curbside is not offered and I have to go to the bar to get my food.2. Bar staff abrupt and rude when I went in to get my food. And it was not because they were busy. There was only one man sitting at the bar.3. Ordered their Friday fried fish special and it was raw! (see photo)

We arrived at the restaurant and the hosts didn’t even look up to greet us. They both looked bothered that we came there, one was busy on their phone. When they took us to the table, they put the menus on the table and walked away, not saying a word to us. The waiter was friendly and efficient. No problem there. The food was decent but nothing special. The cocktail was terrible, not mixed correctly and not even close to a normal pour. I would definitely not return to this restaurant.

This was the worst Italian food I have had outside of a college cafeteria. The veal parm was thick and tasteless, the side pasta was dry with a bland tomato sauce, and the salad was way overdressed (but was the best part of the meal). The seafood pasta dishes (others had at my table) were drowning in sauce, which tasted really “fishy”. The dining area was not at all appealing - tired and devoid of ambiance, with stock area photos falling out of the matting within their frames.

We knew we would have to wait on a Saturday night and were lucky to get a table in the bar. Nice wine list. Old fashioned look not a surprise as it really is an old place. The food was superb, our waitress was terrific and we loved the tiramisu. It was everything we had been told by friends and our Airbnb host. I would love to go back and explore the menu further.

Fantastic option on the Hill, after a big day at the Zoo on a Friday, Zia's is open before the usual evening dinner hour. Fabulous service, our glasses were never empty. Lovely for a date night or family dinner. The Lasagne and house dressing on the salads are to die for.

John was our waiter and really helped us decide what to get. We got the toasted ravioli and tutto mare and they both were excellent! Also, the house salad dressing is amazing. I liked to dip my bread in it! Highly recommend!

Not only was the beef ravioli amazing, they went ahead and threw what is unironically the best Marinara I have ever tasted on top of it. Well worth the wait to get in.
