Hands down best food we had on our entire vacation! Fall-off-the-bone BBQ chicken, best friend catfish I think I've ever had, and OMG you have to try the baked beans!!!!! Fabulous, welcoming, friendly staff and environment. Highly recommend, and will definitely be stopping by every time we pass through St. Louis (we're from Texas, but travel a few times a year).

Visiting from out of town and was looking for some good soul food and came across this amazing place from the moment you walk in the door your greeted with great customer service the atmosphere is super dope with an area for everyone family events, quick bite to eat after work,ladies/bros night out or work event, and the FOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LETS JUST SAY YOU GONNA BE LOOKING IN THE KITCHEN FOR YA GRANNY …..definitely will be coming back and I love 5 hours away
Your Place Diner I had a blast last night looking at the fight. The food was so good the drinks was on point and the people were so down to ? earth. Karaoke ? was so damn hype the DJ was jamming all night.
Hands down the BEST customer service… They live by the motto “your place” by making sure each patron is satisfied with there food, beverages, and service. The owner Wayne is truly professional and we shall be back to Your Place again soon. Food was great and the fact that any drink can be frozen sold me!! It’s bigger than you think with the patio, basement, and upstairs. Thank you for standing out amongst others with the excellent service…
My new favorite place!!! Walked in expecting nothing more than a quick diner type cheeseburger & left hours later just absolutely wowed and can't wait to go back! Everything about this place is beyond any "diner" expectations. Full bar, dining room, fun cozy lower level with a jukebox & darts etc... and my very favorite was the super chill relaxing outdoor patio. Everything was clean & the whole atmosphere is just so inviting. I never got my cheeseburger because the specials of the day sounded too good. Their smothered pork steak was totally different than anything I've ever had and absolutely fantastic as was the Jack Salmon my friend ordered. Even the sides are special & obviously freshly homeade like the mac and cheese that reminded me so much of my grandma's & my salad was loaded with red bell pepper strips, banana peppers & diced tomato. While everything about this place is phenomenal I think what makes it extra special is their staff. From the lovely bartender who gave us a quick tour since it was our first time to the chef who took time out to check and make sure we were enjoying everything, everyone is so friendly and makes you feel welcome and right at home, the service is above & beyond. I'm already envisioning a summer filled with dinners and drinks on the patio!
This eclectically decorated Diner and Bar could only really exist in South City. I had some of the best fried chicken of my life here. The breading is thin, crisp, well seasoned, and compliments the meat which came out moist and flavorful.On the side we had the spaghetti. These noodles were obviously loved and taken care of before they came to us. It isn't a lazy spaghetti and red sauce you'd get at a less motivated establishment. You get a lot of meat with the pasta and the flavor brings back memories of being babysat by my great Aunt as a kid.They make their food like they care about the people coming to eat. It really does feel like your place.p.s. for the more adventurous, try the South City Trashcan to wash down your food.
Had a wonderful dining experience. My friend had the fried fish and fries. I had fried chicken, greens, candied yams, and macaroni & cheese and it was deelishus!! Long Island Tea, strawberry daiquiri w/Hennessey from the bar were fabulous! Music was off-the-chain old school.Warm, laid back relaxing atmosphere with superb friendly service.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Your Place Diner for a meal or just stop in for a srink.
