Delicious donuts with good service and great prices.
Thank you for making the only good donuts in STL. This city is full of terrible donuts that are dry, oversized (to compensate for lack of flavor), filled with canned economy fruit gel, and usually 3x the price. WFD is a national treasure.
Super nice, friendly guy, which is why I put 2 stars and not 1. My husband and son got the chocolate cream filled. I got the cream cheese topped. Mine was ok, though the filling was a little sharp tasting and different consistency. The others were just WRONG. The dough part was good, but there was something really off about the filling. They couldn't eat it. I tasted it - and had to spit it out. Rancid? Maybe? We were worried about food poisoning (we were fine), it was that weird.
My very first and last visit! I went there early, 8:30 am on a Saturday and the selection of donuts was limited. All of the donuts, especially the glaze donuts looked soggy, like they do after sitting around all day. You couldn't really tell it was a glazed donut because they looked like they had been sitting in water. Bad quality!
It’s so nice to have a donut shop walking distance in tower grove. Unfortunately, the quality is lacking in the 5+ times we’ve been since the new owners took over. Miss the old glazed donut as it was 100% the best I’d ever had. Also, would be nice if the new owners upgraded the coffee. Doesn’t need to be completely the same as before - if you’re donuts are just ok, at least offer better coffee!
World's fair donut is a good old fashioned donut shop. It is run by a family and that just adds to the charm. The donuts were delicious, make sure you know your donuts because donuts aren't labeled.This is everything a donut shop should be and the passion and time show in the quality.The parking is tight so if you come at a peak time be prepared.
Very friendly employees and clean shop! They have a nice selection of donuts that changes a little everyday. The strawberry custard filled donuts and the blueberry donuts are our favorites!
This place is the definition of a mom-and-pop place. There is a old time family feel to this gem tucked in a corner of a busy intersection: A mural of the previous owner makes it feel as if she is still behind the counter. The donuts are excellent and a perfect way to start any day.
For $2 I got a huge blueberry donut and it was delicious! My only note is that I wish they had an apple fritter, but I’m sure their selection rotates. I guess I’ll just having to keep visiting to find out ??♂️
Excellent donuts. Not cheap donuts, but great value. Dough is not sickeningly sweet like mass produced varieties. Blueberry and custard filled were fabulous!
