The menu selection was good at dinner but a little more limited at lunch. Overall everything was good from taste to portion.
My partner and I went to eat at Wasabi Sushi Bar Cortex about a week ago. This was our first time eating here and it was definitely an experience. We're definitely going back! The ambiance of this place was sexy to me. It was amazing. Our waitress was very polite and attentive. This was the first time I'd ever had a salmon poke bowl with spicy mayo and I've been craving that bowl ever since. It was so dang good. My partner had a sushi roll called Girl on Fire and that thing was literally on fire when he got it. It was something to see this. All I can say is AMAZING! You've gotta experience this once you visit. You will not be disappointed. They also have an outside bar with tables for those who may want to enjoy on the patio. It was cold when we went so the outside patio wasn't open.The parking here was right outside the door with a lot shared with the hotel next door. There was also street metered parking just in case the lot is full. It even had plug ins for electric cars to charge. I was like whoa how cool is this! You do have to wear a mask upon entry. There's hand sanitizers readily available if you need it. This place is wheelchair accessible. It's family friendly as we saw a few families there with small kiddos. Wasabi Sushi Bar Cortex is a great place to experience with good food. We can wait to return.#Tonetta
The sushi was pretty good and the portions were very filling. The spicy edamame was also very delicious. Our service was very good and attentive, and the restaurant was clean and had a pleasant atmosphere. Overall a pleasant experience.
Staying at the Aloft Cortex next door we thought this was the perfect place to order dinner from. We got sushi and edamame. Sushi tasted fresh and the edamame was well cooked. They forgot to give us chopsticks and soy sauce as we ordered to go, which resulted in us having to leave our hotel room to wait in line to get them again, but the food was good. A little pricey but it’s a trade off with not having to drive or order delivery.
Came here after work. Sushi was good, waitress was nice. Only bad thing is meter parking.
My experience at this restaurant was nothing short of amazing. Not only was the food wonderfully prepared, fresh, and timely but the service was incredible. Lorna, the friendliest bartender I ever met, seemed to know what I wanted before I even asked which speaks volumes about her experience and the restaurants expectations for customer service. And to make my experience even better the ambiance and music selection was perfect! 10/10 will definitely go again some day.
Lovely new building with a stylish dining space and bumping music ( I do enjoy House Music!) The manager and staff want you to enjoy this space and their food, so they will do whatever it takes to make you happy and comfortable - don't like cucumber? Sub mango, problem solved. Best White Tiger Roll of any in the chain.
Our first time at The Cortex location. AMAZING from start to finish! Lorna is the absolute best. She made excellent recommendations for the menu. Her bartending skills are beyond compare. The presentation of our sushi is so beautiful. If you haven't been, you're missing out. Please visit them!

We just discovered the Wasabi Cortex restaurant in early fall and it rapidly became our favorite restaurant. We enjoyed their patio in nicer weather and now are savoring indoor dining experiences. The food is delicious and we very much love the Bento boxes. Prices are reasonable, the menu is extensive and portions are generous. There is an extremely cordial and welcoming atmosphere. Most of all, the service is impeccable. We have had Lorna as our server on numerous occasions and she is excellent, gracious and highly welcoming. We cannot say enough positive comments about this restaurant, its accommodating, excellent staff, and the delicious food.
