The Truc Lam Pho has a tasty soup base. The food also came out surprisingly quick, under 10 minutes. The herbs that it came with didn’t look the freshest. The restaurant interior is somewhat rundown. Overall, I liked it, but didn’t fall in love like others have.
The banh mis and Thai coffee are great, and the banh xeo is fantastic, but don't visit without trying the pho. It's unbelievable! For my money, the spicy Pho Sate is the best pho dish in the city; maybe one of the best of all the soups in town.
Delicious Pho, open 7 days/week, even when others are closed. Unassuming place, but serves delicious Authentic Vietnamese food. Give it a try
One of my favorite restaurants. We have been coming here for years and the food has been just delicious. Best Pho is town!!! The broth there is nothing like it around.
I'm from California and moved to the Missouri country, where there isn't any pho. I love stopping by this restaurant when taking someone to the airport. Last time I was there, the gentleman was exceptionally courteous and attentive. The pho was also delicious.

Truc Lam is my "go-to" for Vietnamese Food in St. Louis. Absolutely the best! Every menu item I have ordered over these many years has been top notch. My latest order today, #51 Rice Special, was most excellent! Don't let the admittedly lackluster setting of the building and decor fool you - the food more than makes up for it. Also, the prices have gone up roughly 20% over the past couple of years (like most restaurants) but it is still well worth it. I can't recommend this place enough!
One of my favorite spots in the area, amazing kind service and always fast. I’ve never been disappointed by their bahn mi and pho, everything is always always flavorful and fresh. Great prices too! Excited to explore more of the menu.

this is the best vietnamese restaurant in st. louis, hands down. ive been coming here since it opened. ive never received anything less than exemplary service. the food is incredible. they have the best pho, the best bahn mi, the best bbq pork skewers, and the best prices. anyone who says otherwise is just stupid and not a credible source. i would highly recommend the pho sate for anyone who’s a fan of spicy food. ive read previous comments saying that this place is inauthentic. there is literally one cook, from what i’ve seen, and she’s a little old vietnamese lady. just disregard any negative review. from a long time customer, this place is my favorite restaurant in stl, hands down. meanie pham... you’re name is meanie for a reason i guess.
