We were so excited to have the Sweet Divine food truck back in St. Charles a couple weeks back. Something has changed - the quality was not at the level of what you offered before. We spent over $50 in cupcakes and all went in the trash after a couple bites. They were too dry too eat as if the cakes had been previously frozen for too long and then frosted for the event. Hope this was a one-off bc we really liked your cupcakes.
We ordered a selection of cupcakes and was Very disappointed in the quality of the cake. The cake was very DRY. We actually needed a water to wash down the cake. The icing was the only best part of the cupcake.
The Sweet Divine, did such an amazing job with our wedding cake! It was so beautiful and exactly how we pictured it!! It's been a couple months and i still remember the taste! We knew we picked the right shop when we stepped in because the smells were too good to pass up! The staff was very kind, helpful, and professional above all. Despite the massive snow storm on our wedding day, they delivered promptly! I would 100% recommend!
My husband ordered a special birthday cake for a young boy, Batman & Spider-Man themed. Paid over $150 which I thought was ridiculous for a kid’s cake. So embarrassed when we opened the box to ‘surprise’ everyone with this special cake. Essentially a very dense yellow cake that didn’t taste good, with fondant topping. The decor was one layer covered in gray (guess that was supposed to be Superman) & top layer was red with a black ‘web’ on it. Also very small, didn’t serve very many people. Fortunately my husband also bought some special cupcakes which were good. Wouldn’t do it again. Could have made it for less than $20. This was a couple years after they opened & still had the hype from winning.
Walked there from the Farmers Market down the street. The employees were so nice, and sweet. The place was clean, and bright. Thought I'd get your average bakery cupcake, but not here. Their cupcakes were 10/10. We got the kings cake after Mardi Gras. My boyfriend and I only wish we bought more. Will be back, and definitely recommend.
The Sweet Divine was great throughout the whole process of making the most perfect wedding cake for us. I showed them the design I had in mind, and it exceeded my expectations. The cake was also delicious and was delivered promptly at our venue in Illinois. I will be using them again for future events and cake needs!
The cupcakes that mu daughter ordered for her 15th bday were amazing. This was the only place she wanted to get her cupcakes from because they won cupcake wars. She chose, twist and shout, red velvet, chunky monkey and snickerdoodle. They did not disappoint. Thank you Courtney and Jenna and all your staff for making her birthday extra special.
We ordered our wedding cake through this lovely bakery! Our cake was absolutely stunning and exactly how we imagined it. Every part of the experience seemed effortless. Not to mention the fact that the flavor of the cake and frosting was phenomenal. Highly recommend!
My wife and I decided to go with The Sweet Divine for our wedding cake. We were very happy with our choice! Due to the pandemic we moved away from STL but decided to keep our wedding in STL. Most of our correspondence was done over email. Suzy, was very professional and courteous to us in trying to plan a wedding cake. They delivered the wedding cake on the date of the wedding with no hitches. The cake was very elegant but most importantly it was delicious! The cost of the cake was very reasonable as well. Once we have our professional wedding photos I will update this post with pictures of the cake.In the past we have also had their cupcakes which are worth stopping for. You won't be disappointed with choosing this local company for something as small as cupcakes while you're in the Soulard area or planning your wedding cake!
We worked with The Sweet Divine for our wedding and it was one of the best decisions we made! Suzy and her team are great to work with and provided us the best dessert experience we could have asked for. We received SO many compliments on our wedding desserts, they truly blew everyone away with their amazing flavors. The only downside is that now I constantly crave their desserts, guess that means we will have to keep stopping in to grab a few cupcakes and macarons!
