Great place for breakfast or Brunch
Food is amazing staff is super friendly
Love the food, but I couldn’t order the burger on a Saturday. I don’t do eggs, but our server suggested a dish that I could leave the egg off. Darn if I can remember the name, but it was a croissant with sausage and gravy with cheese. Omg it was so delicious. Also was the pumpkin pancakes!
First time here, food was fantastic and the service was excellent. Even though I’m vaccinated for COVID-19 and wore a mask, I’m still high risk. So I greatly appreciated being able to sit outside with friends. Will definitely be returning!
I love coming here ! They have the best breakfast around & it’s gluten free ! I have celiac disease so it’s so nice knowing I can come here to have an amazing and safe breakfast without getting sick
I've been here many times, and just realized that I've never written a review. Likely because after coming home from The Shack I am usually too full to walk down the stairs to my computer. So this time, I waited a day. Take THAT stomach pains! Always busy, it's advisable to pack your patience with you and arrive to put your name in before you're famished. Although, if you can make it in on a week day, you're definitely going to be in better shape wait-wise. You're "working from home" anyway - who will know the difference? The staff is always welcoming and efficient, even when they've all got multiple tables. Together, my husband and I have had most of the menu at one time or another, and we've always been pleased. Some, of course are better than others, but all are well prepared and tasty. My current fave is the sweet avo-rito burrito. Yum. St. Louis is lacking a ton of really good brunch places, so we're lucky to have The Shack just down the road a piece from most of the 'burbs.

Great food! Excellent service. But we did have to wait longer than we were told for our group's table. Did appreciate the coffee and water that was available while we waited. We will come again.
My daughter and son-in-law took me there for Father's Day we had breakfast and it was fantastic we're out on the patio food was delicious stop it
