Average restaurant. Unpleasant mens toilet. We ordered three different kinds of oysters cooked with cheese topping. Waiters wasn’t able to tell which was which. The main course was served while we having our starters.

The place has great music, great drinks and AMAZING Cajun food. The oysters Rockefeller were soft and incredibly flavored. The alligator bites were the softest, most moist and flavorful I have ever had. The jambalaya should be in the hall of fame! We were recently in New Orleans and couldn’t get food this good!! And they take reservations on open table!!!

This little gem was recommended to me and my wife by the staff at the hotel. Loved the food, drinks and live music!

This restaurant looks like a shack on the outside an inside is an eclectic array of decorations, its lovely to look at all the conversation pieces while waiting for food. We were seated right away, greeted by a wonderful server who made us feel that we were her only guests, but she was swamped. We asked for recommendations and the food we had was off the charts good. We did order the oysters and they were delicious and fresh. We also had the sampler platter which was so so good and flavorful. If you like spicy food, this is your place! We ended our dinner with their bread pudding w/whiskey sauce. What can I say, OMG, I've been back home a week and I still can't stop talking about it. The best I've ever tasted!

My husband and I are new to the area having moved down from Chicago last year. We're over in Metro East, but wanted to come into St. Louis for a date night since we love us some good food. We arrived right on time for our reservation on a Saturday night, but then I realized I'd booked it for the wrong day! There was nothing available, and I was positive we'd be late and hungry for our next event. It was busy, with people waiting outside for tables. The hostess was absolutely unflappable though and would probably be at home working in an air-traffic-control room. She was sweet, unfazed by our mistake, and just had us wait a half a minute while she shuttled other people to tables or the digital waiting list, then got us on the list ourselves and sent us to wait at the bar. The patio bar was SO MUCH FUN. The atmosphere is funky and casual for sure but the service is not lax. They are on top of their game to a crazy degree! We never waited for a drink or assistance and the bartenders were in constant motion. While I was sipping my perfectly made Pimm's and my husband enjoyed his draft Radler, an awesome band came on stage and started playing a little Ray Charles. There's another bar next door that had a Violent Femmes cover band doing a loud but mediocre job, and I gotta say, Bob's music was way better and free. I could've stayed and eaten our whole meal at the bar, but we only had to wait about 10 minutes for a table. We were seated in a covered area of the restaurant that is newly air-conditioned. It was pleasant with a nice hum of happy people. The restaurant is quirky as others have mentioned, with lots of memorabilia and posters, etc. on the wall, but it's immaculately clean. It's the middle of summer, hot outside, and they're super busy serving raw and cooked seafood, and yet every table was cleared as soon as it needed to be. The whole restaurant smells delicious, not fishy or stale. I didn't see a single fly buzzing around or dust in the corners. These folks take amazing care of the place! Our server was at the table within a minute of us being seated, friendly and fast. We were starving and ordered: Gulf Oysters on the half shell 1 Oyster shooter (I love oyster shooters) Crawfish Mac and Cheese Crawfish Etoufeé Ahi Tuna Fajitas Everything was phenomenal. I'd eat it all again, but definitely the mac and cheese and oyster shooter. It'd be fun to see a boozy oyster shooter! The Gulf oysters were fresh, shucked, and presented perfectly on rock salt with the usual fixin's. Everything was the right temperature, well-seasoned, and garnished with purpose. Not a sprig of useless parsley, limp iceberg lettuce, or a bland cheese sauce to be seen! The presence of several different hot sauces on the table made me happy. Their prices are reasonable, the portions appropriate, and the service consistent and attentive. I swear this is one of the best experiences we've had in a restaurant since before the pandemic, and we are ready to make it a regular date night!!

I stopped here for lunch on a recommendation and I'm glad I did. The place is fun and funky, see pics of atmosphere. I'm sorry I didn't take a pic of any of the food but it was very good, especially the oysters and the homemade gin tabasco sauce. We ordered three dozen oysters and although it seemed the first batch had all plump oysters while the other two batches were mixed, everything was fresh and delicious. The band playing at lunchtime was very good, including a few original songs they played. Service very attentive and you can tell they want to be sure you're happy. Beyond casual, fun and funky! Mixed with delicious!

We went here on a Sunday afternoon. There was going to be a Cardinals game later so it was pretty crowded. I ordered the shrimp po boy. Being from the Deep South I have eaten my share of po boys. I was keeping my expectations fairly low. Well I was mistaken as it was wonderful ! First of all, Gambino’s French bread was used. It comes straight out of New Orleans and it is delicious. I was impressed. The shrimp were fried perfectly and all the toppings were good and fresh. My husband and son loved their food as well. The service was good. The atmosphere was fun. I almost thought I was somewhere back home. I would definitely eat here again.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, recommending items from the menu. The atmosphere was awesome, casual, and right out of a Cajun area of the south. The food was amazing. Had the Oysters Nola for an appetizer and they were so good we used the garlic toast to soak up the leftovers. Next we had the shrimp and grits, and the crawfish pasta. Both were incredible. Awesome flavor and perfect spice. Didn’t get a get a chance to enjoy the beer garden or daily live music, but definitely will the next time.

I never trust restaurants with Cajun or New Orleans themes. I was born and raised there and my bar is set quite high. I had eaten here before but it has been auite a while. This night I ordered gumbo and an oyster po'boy. Awful. The oysters were the size of my thumbnails and overcooked. They have no idea how to dress a po'boy. The gumbo was acceptable. It's a fun, funky place and I might go back but I'll never order a po'boy there.

Always a great crowd. Awesome friendly staff. Well worth a visit.
