Always a go-to for us. This is the answer to that old question: “where do you wanna go?” The answer is, inevitably, The Haven! Great food! Great service! Good drinks and cold beer! Highly recommend “Meatloaf Tuesdays!” You will not be disappointed.
There are few places in this city, state, country, that can have a diverse menu and all of it is SUPERB! Used to go to the Haven with my parents all the time, but I sadly no longer live in STL, but they still go a couple times a month. Daily specials are always amazing, too! They make good cocktails, as well. And the carrot cake! Yum. Staff is awesome!
I was happy with my experience at The Haven. I had a friendly server and everything was fresh and arrived quickly. I had the baked cod with onion petals and steamed broccoli. My only complaint is that it tasted like the oil needed a change--which is to be expected at a pub that serves a lot of fried food daily. It didn't ruin my experience or even stop me from eating the onion petals. Their restrooms were clean and well-stocked. There are multiple TVs showing different sports and shows, which some may find distracting. My meal was very affordable, and I plan to try the salmon if I go back.
Nikki our server was very pleasent. Service was quick and had the open face roast beef sandwich and the crinkle cut fries. Tasted great.
The beer is amazing. The service is top notch. You can’t been the atmosphere or the prices and the food is top notch American. For a good chill dinner, for the price of Hardee’s, plus a beer, there is no way to go wrong!!
In my opinion, The Haven has the best burger in town. Service is always friendly and fast. Truly one of our favorite places!
We were seated right as we walked in. Our server was fast and friendly. My friend and I ordered the steak sandwich which was a bit hard to chew. It was pretty greasy but very flavorful. There was a Blues game on so folks were pretty excited (loud). Overall the atmosphere is great. Our server forgot to bring us our appetizer but it was a busy Friday night so I understand! I would have posted pictures but we were hungry and it was tasty so I didn’t have a chance. I’ll get some next time I come by!
Always great staff & comfy atmosphere. The food is generally pretty good but can be hit or miss on quality (depending on kitchen staff, maybe?).Great selection of sandwich and burger staples and good fried pickles!
Food was good; I want to explore the menu more though. Burger I had was just ok. But the marinara they served with the toasted ravs was so tasty I could have (and did) eat it with a spoon. Atmosphere was fun, staff was warm and kind. I'll certainly be back.
Had the Frisco melt and onion rings! The onion petals were sold out unfortunately, but everything was great. Juicy burger, cooked perfect and great service all night!
