So very disappointed…. In MYSELF that we hadn’t gone sooner!! I have seen so many amazing reviews about the Gramophone and I loveeeeeeee sandwiches! It is a little bit of a drive for us but now after our dinner yesterday I realize that drive is worth every second when it ends in being rewarded with the Philly cheesesteak sammy. This is by far one of the best phillies I have had! My fiancé got the Alcatraz and that was pretty fire too but phillies are my thing. I was so full after half I actually brought the other half home that I thought I would devour a short time later but I made a smart decision to save it for lunch. And it was just as amazing heating it up in the air fryer. The popper soup was bomb as well as the Frostie Rootbeer I drank with it! Needless to say we will definitely be back!!!

Unbelievable sandwiches in a cool setting. There is plenty of seating, a bar for drinks, and a few pin ball machines. The mac and cheese and baked potato sides are awesome. The sandwiches are to die for. Great place to stop at for lunch or to hang out wiht friends in the evening. Wonderful place to stop on your way home after a night out for a sandwich.

Great food, great staff, great service! Highly recommend. So many options

Sandwiches. Chips. Beer. Drinks. Music. Vibes.

I got the beef sandwich. More bread than meat and cheese. Flavor was great. everyone else in our group had huge sandwiches or wraps and were happy with what they ordered. Its very loud so if you want a quiet place to talk skip it Lots of people doing takeout so that is an option

Best sandwiches in all of St Louis! Coolest people and great vibe.

Normally I take a picture of my food. But it was gone too quickly it was so good. I consider myself a sandwich connoisseur, and I have to say these were the best five sandwiches I've ever had. We tried the Fight Club, this one with turkey, it had a lot of stuff on it, the Cheese steak, the Philly and the grilled cheese. All top quality. So much meat, it was nuts. But you know what really did it for me? Not a lot of places get this right, and in fact I think these were some of the only sandwiches that I can say have the MOST PERFECT sandwich bread. It was firm enough to safely hold all the contents of the sandwich, most places, the bread is too hard, or tough, or chewy, or cuts your mouth. But when you bite into these sandwiches it's like a dream. Instead of fighting with the bread, it compliments the sandwich eating experience perfectly. I really don't know how they do it. I want to know their bread recipe!!

This place has DELICIOUS sandwiches. We're staying nearby, and we walked over not expecting this level of yum. I had a half turkey reuben that totally hit the spot, and I tried my husband's Philly Cheese steak that was extremely tasty (if the veggies were a little too soft and watery). The kiddo got something that had boss sauce, which we had on the side...but it wasn't spicy. It was more thousand island-ish.There isn't a ton of seating, and I'd say it is kid-ok rather than kid-friendly. This is such a great neighborhood. Places like this will have us coming back for sure.

I ordered the Mississippi Nights sandwich with a delicious side of mac and cheese. The establishment also has self-serve refillable soft drinks. The food was amazing. The sandwich was full of flavor from the different combination of meats, like the turkey, roast beef and bacon with the pepper jack cheese and red pepper spread. The Gramophone is truly very unique in the different sandwiches they serve judging from the items on the menu, the different combination of ingredients used and clearly has established its very own trademark, especially with the crumbled barbecue chips they seem to put on everything. The only reason I gave four stars is because I feel like the sandwich I tried could have had more meat, yet the lack of meat to my liking was very subtly masked with all of the different flavor combinations since everything tasted so good. And I absolutely give them five stars for their mac and cheese. I was totally impressed with how it was served in an individual round aluminum serving dish to maintain the heat and filled above the top with a generous, heaping portion of cheesy goodness. The pasta was cooked to the perfect texture, the cheese was explosive, and the barbecue chips on top gave it that final touch. I would not hesitate to go back to try their other sandwiches on the menu and would highly recommend to anybody wanting to try something new and a little different.

Awesome sandwiches. Great local beer selection. Live music. Star Wars pinball.
