The rooms and some areas of the hotel are outdated and the service is terrible. No one cleaned the rooms at all any day, we weren't even warned that there would be no housekeeping. We called to ask for at least fresh towels and they never came. Any time the AC was running a really loud humming fan sounds came out of the bathroom, even louder than the bathroom fan which was annoying at night. The lobby had infused water one day but missing every other day. The one person working the check-in desk had to run to the bell desk to check in and out bags from the bag hold. The conference area charges $36+ dollars for wifi even if you're a hotel guest. The one restaurant that's open during the day was shot at and has a broken window they won't fix. The gym is quite outdated and has no sanitation supplies. I'm surprised they get to charge top dollar and offer worse services than an affordable hotel, especially since they didn't even have the decency to at least let you know at check in.

Pure disappointment. On the website it says there is rooftop accessibility and room service. These were literally the main reasons we booked, looking for a place stay as we are celebrating our engagement. Quickly we found out there's no room service on weekdays, and no rooftop access. How is there no rooftop access on an 80 degree day? They told us it was closed due to weather, I didn't know nice weather was a reason to close to the roof. There's absolutely nothing special about the rooms, one of the elevators broke when we were in the lobby and management had to close it off after we tried using it and had to complain. The Preston was the last savior for us as the coffee shop that is in the hotel was also closed. The Preston was also a huge disappointment, we spent $50 on good only to recieve the most bland breakfast possible. They also charged us for black coffee, when it's free in the rooms. I will never stay here again unless I feel I'm getting my times worth. I've gotten better food, service, and respect from a 3 star hotel. If you are expecting anything upscale or fancy, this is not the place. I wish the hotel would do something to make up for the horrible experience, but it seems that they wish you would have a better time next stay, without actually doing anything to improve the experience. I spent over $600 here and felt it was worth nothing near. Save your money, this place is cheap. If you want me to change my mind, do something instead of just wishing it was better next time.

Very comfortable rooms unless you have noisy neighbors (it happened).Excellent breakfast (I recommend the blueberry pancakes). Can't open the windows to get a bit of fresh air. Can't get a taxi in any reasonable time when you need to go to the airport.

A. Valet parking overnight is a whopping $45 versus self-park, $35, both being ridiculously overpriced.B. Majority of the "ritzy" feel is in the lobby area; the rooms are basic, albeit clean.C. They didn't invest in soundproofing their windows even though the hotel is right by a busy road and the highway, so you hear cars late into the night and beginning early in the morning.D. QR code for restaurant for room service doesn't properly work. I went from Google to access the menu, both of which lack healthier (and/or vegan subs for things like sausage and bacon). If you're going to be a "top tier" hotel then service and options must be top in all things. Parking should be complimentary or $20, tops, when you pay $400+ for a night. My recommendation is, pick a 3 star over this location: you'll save money and the service may even be better. And dear management, please stop replying with the basic, "I'm sorry you didn't enjoy your stay. Please email us at ..." just do better. People have already mentioned the lack of compassion from staff, when a lot of your guests stay here because they or a relative are going to the hospital next door (keep your restaurants for room service open until midnight, gift shop until 10, etc.) And change your nonsense parking fee. That's what you can do: improve, rather than write nonsensical replies to seem like you care.

We stayed here for two nights. The first night, our room wasn’t great but we were so tired. The room was noisy (heard street noise). BUT…The second night, we requested a new room and got a complimentary upgrade. Wow their king suite is very nice compared to other rooms. It’s worth the additional $ - wish I knew this when booking initially.Michael at the front desk was awesome. He was so helpful and really took care of us.I was going to say 4 stars but Michael put it over the top to 5. Thank you Michael.Sorry I forgot to take pictures before we used the room but it was super clean when we went in.

My guy friend and I went here to see a movie!!! It's beautiful inside the Chase Park Plaza!!! It wasn't to crowded, there was not a long wait time, no long lines waiting to see the movie!! It was beautiful inside. I recommend for others to go see a movie inside The Chase Park Plaza, the experience was great ? beautiful atmosphere ?

I was making a food delivery there and the concierge took the bag I was delivering without even asking. I was only going by my customers instructions and doing my job. You also can't mess with people's food like that. At least ask instead of taking it out of my hand like it belongs to you. I don't trust you with their food and that is no way to gain my trust. I'm sorry Stephanie. I guess that table is for bad magazines and only bad magazines.

Glad it's almost over.Stayed here Thursday and Friday nights because it's near the hospital my child was having surgery at Friday morning.Got back Friday after surgery and right next to our door, housekeeping had parked their cart full of chemicals and trash and left it. Went downstairs and asked the man at the counter about having it moved and letting him know we were to have a cot for that night so I could be in the room with my kid to monitor them and hear them throughout the night. Also had to ask about door dash because my kid needed food so they could take their pain medication and at 230 all their restaurants were closed. Also couldn't get anything from the gift shop because it was closed. The guy didn't even come across as empathetic and was just like yeah, there's a grocery store if you go out the far end of the hotel and across the street .. you can get what you need there.Housekeeping came up and the guy stayed showing me pictures of the cot saying I wouldn't be comfortable on it but he help me move the pull out sofa over closer to the room... hadn't expected to be moving furniture during my stay.$70 just to park my car where I'm spending over $400 and a parking lot that was open at 7pm when I arrived, 5am when I took my kid to the hospital and 1230 when I returned. Not once was it closed to the public so I'm essentially paying for others to have free parking capabilities.I stayed here because it comes across as having everything for your stay, but besides being able to order up some breakfast this morning, it's essentially $500 for a bed and somewhere to park my car only.Won't stay here again.

We booked a room here to escape the winter storm at the end of Feb. We stayed in the King Suite and it was incredibly luxurious and clean. The bathroom is bright and spacious and had everything we needed, including quality shampoo, conditioner and body wash via dispenser in the shower. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows weren’t endless marshmallows that you can suffocate in. They were the perfect density. (I’m super picky lol)We went down to the main lobby and had dinner at the Chase Club after 8:30pm. Our waiter Gregory was amazing. He suggested we start with a Mediterranean lamb appetizer and it was absolutely spot on. The lamb was cooked perfectly and was so tender and the tabbouleh was so savory and well balanced. For our entrees, my husband chose a seasonal steak dish with an gratin potatoes and roasted broccolini and I chose the seasonal seafood which I recall being Halibut. It came with roasted rainbow carrots and cauliflower mushroom risotto. Absolutely delicious. It was so good we told Greg to let the cook staff know how pleased we were with the food. The chef John came out and spoke with us. He is exceptional and the restaurant is lucky to have him. If ever we come through St Louis again, we will definitely be coming back.

The Chase consistently provides superior service. I have stayed at this hotel several times over the last 4 years. I would recommend the Chase above all other hotels in St. Louis. The cinema, restaurant offerings, walkability, hotel staff, and location make it a perfect choice. I really want to recognize some staff members for going above and beyond: Lynne (in house reservations), Brenda (Chase Club), James (Chase Club), and Paris (front desk). Just finished another weekend at the Chase and all of these staff members are fantastic! I was especially impressed with Paris’ handling of the guest in front of me and making me feel very welcomed as I checked in. Also had friends to meet and stay here this time and they were equally impressed and bragged on the hotel. That says something! Thanks again for another wonderful stay!!!!
