Very nice place to visit, its such a cute restaurant has a great atmosphere and the staff there are phenomenal, very sweet and attentive. The food was very delicious me and my sister really enjoyed it. Definitely check it out if your from out of town and there is a little museum and walking path right by it.
We visited The Barn on Mother's Day this year for brunch and were thoroughly impressed. Being a holiday, we waited an hour and a half for a table- but were close enough to some stores in town to shop around in to pass the time. Once seated, we ordered the special- Belgian waffle fried in French toast batter with house raspberry jam, the breakfast quiche, and the Californian eggs benedict. All three dishes were incredible, though the quiche was my favorite. Our server Adam provided us with exceptional service, going above and beyond expectation. The location alone (the historic Thomas Sappington House on beautifully maintained grounds with a pond) made spending Mother's Day afternoon on a beautiful spring day the perfect way to celebrate Mom. We will be back!
Let's start off with how awesome the team work is at this spot, Excellent!!!The cocktail coconut cream pie is delicious and will hit the spot for a sweet tooth..The Californian is a nice light meal for brunch and when you're not trying to get stuffed ?.
Visited from out of town. Variety of menu was great with not too many options. Wife had the crepe special and I had the waffle special. Food was plentiful and very flavorful! Just the right portion to fill you up but not overwhelming. Definitely will visit again!
We even had to wait for 30 minutes or so and the staff was so lovely and served a us a mimosa and coffee to take outside while we waited! Smiling faces and friendly staff even as they were break-neck busy. Great homemade menu with some creative dishes. You won’t be disappointed if you come!

Shout out to the staff!! Incredible service, friendly, informative with good energy. The mimosa are a must order. Want warm try the coffee with: Baileys, Jameson and Kahlua with cool whip and sprinkles that was delicious. Let’s just say you will feel amazing. The best part was the food. “The Eastern Shore” egg Benedict with a crab cake added Carmel onions was my choice. I left nothing behind. French toast dipped in a waffle no doubt we would try this. Everything is fresh to the “ The barn” eggs and bacon. If your traveling like us and need a breakfast spot please go, will not disappoint. We left stuff.
On a beautiful histpric property. The food was amazing. Try a scone if they have any available. The staff were super friendly. Can't wait to go back. Hopefully, their outdoor seating is open by then and we'll be able to enjoy the outdoors.
