Wonderful man works there. Most delicious Asian food around! Takes the time to make sure everything is perfect. Great crab ragoon! I had a Seafood soup. It was sooo satisfying and delicious. Huge portion, I had to take half home. I will be going back!
Thai Asian cuisine It is always a pleasure to write a review about quality food. This little Thai place really stands out. Great Thai food in the St. Louis area is difficult to find...sure there are many good places...just not great places. Operators have been forced to shrink their product while using ingredients that shortcut the quality and taste. Also, I occasionally travel a little from city to city, I look for best of Thai as I really enjoy the flavor of the curry's, basil, spice, fresh textured veggies, and fun appetizers like satay and tofu. At Thai Asian Cuisine, I have tried a number of dishes over the past couple of months, and I am finally inspired to write a review…and I must give high praises to this local spot. It is important to note that there are a few local thai spots that have a similar menu, yet their food always tastes watered down and lacking the specific richness of the coconut milk and curry spices. It is obvious that the chefs at Thai Asian Cuisine are seeking to nourish and enrich our culture by staying true to perhaps the best Thai food in the St. Louis Area. At the same time, their menu caters to the limited taste palate of the soco area and the local propensity to prefer traditional Americanese food. For this reason you will find a blend of Thai, Vietnamese, and Americanese items on the menu. This is a wise move by the management. Like many operators, the goal is to wow with food, in hopes to someday, perhaps post-covid, expand the dining room. The dining area is handsome yet small. Seating perhaps 20 people at a time. Although rarely crowded, the few times I have eaten in, there is steady take-out and listening in to phone-in orders, they seem to prepare a few of the favorite Americanese items which they make exceedingly well. Every dish i have tried, is full-flavored and hand crafted. Always cooked fresh and hot, the staff works hard and steady to provide a quality experience. I also must bring up the terrific price and quantity of food as being generous and a value for these trying times. If I had just one criticism is that the matched sauces served with the dishes could use a little refinement. It is a high art to create a signature sauce that perfectly matches each dish. My ultimate hope is that this review selfishly finds you and that you seek out this amazing Thai restaurant so that they continue to tickle taste buds and grow into a go-to St. Louis spot.
Definitely check them out! Crab rangoons are delicious and not overly sweet! The sauce served with them is perfect! Also had the chicken satay and they were HUGE! Sooooo good! Panang curry was fantastic as well! Will definitely become a regular there now!
First thing I want to warn everyone, the Thai food is very Vietnamized, don’t expect authentic Thai flavors here. We ordered papaya salad, Tom yum, sweet and sour pork, fried glass noodles, pad kee mao, pad Thai, red curry and fried rice. Pad Thai was the only dish that actually tastes like pad Thai. The fried rice was very good also. The papaya salad was very sweet, and the Tom yum did not have Tom yum flavor as in sour and spicy, it was just very mushroom soupy. The pad kee mao was a little on the bland side and noodle was a little hard. The food was still good but I’m just saying if you expect authentic Thai food, this is not the place. The server was so nice, service was phenomenal! Food came out fast too! And the food presentation is also very nice.
Very fresh tasty food. If you don’t have patience and can’t wait for your food to be freshly made I would advise you to go to a fast food place. Very sweet staff, seems to be a family ran business w just a few ppl working. (Sorry that’s the only picture we took lol but very good food.)
The food was delivered off the stove hot and everything taste amazing! I got Yellow Curry with Potatoes and Onions, Spicy Basil Fried Rice, Pad Thai Noodles (with Tofu) and Crispy Egg Rolls... all delicious. Absolute fire! Will now be my go to Thai restaurant.Update as of April 19, 2022. This last order was so bad I threw most everything away. The Pad Thai Noodles had dry coarse chicken pieces and no vegetables. I ordered the Yellow Curry with potatoes with pork... the meat was dry and tasteless and the curry was super sweet. I don't know why the food was so bad this time, but I can't risk it by going back.
This is by far the freshest and most tasty Thai food I've had so far in St. Louis. Small, out of the way, very polite, and clean. You should give it a try.
Good food but be patient. If you like your dishes to be drenched in sauce, we'll, be ready to be disappointed. The dishes are on the dry side, but the flavor is excellent. The Spring Rolls are so unbelievable fresh! I had to wait about 20 minutes after I arrived for my carry out, but in the end it was worth it!
Respectful even when I look half the age that's being served.Quick and hospitable.Business needs a boost due to pandemic times.THE BEST INTENSE RED CURRY FLAVOR!That's not intense in spiciness. It was an amazing dish compared to the many red curry's I've tried all over St. Louis and St. Charles. The family running it is Vietnamese.Plenty of parking.Would definitely make this my main area for my Thai food. The outlets worked for business related plugs.Plenty of room to myself in the corner. It is not noisy or full of music which I can definitely keep my peace.
This had quickly become one of my favorite places for Thai food. The menu is pretty extensive and I've never had anything that wasn't good.
