Stopped in for a quick lunch pickup. No waiting. When I asked for larb gai, the white kid at the counter had no idea what I was talking about. The Asian lady in the kitchen got the question and reluctantly admitted that they do not offer it...no real call for it. No larb gai? In a Thai restaurant? So I went with chicken pad thai and chicken lo mein. I asked for spicy, and maxed out the spice-o-meter. Sadly, this was not really very spicy. I attribute this to a general Midwest fear of/aversion to truly spicy food, and food cooked accordingly. Even when asked for spicy, they couldn't deliver. Noodles for both dishes look an awful lot like spahetti noodles, nice and round. No flat noodles in either dish. Both dishes were fine, tasty and fresh. The price for the pair was also good, less than $20. The portion size was pretty good, tending toward a large. Both dishes were ready very quickly. Bottom line: nothing wrong with the chow here, not at all, but just not really very "thai." If you're okay with this, then this is the right place for you. If you prefer more traditional, find another Thai restaurant.
The food is good. My problem is the prices on the menu. What's shown online is an old picture of their menu board. Prices are 20 - 30% higher. Even the printed menu that they hand out in the restaurant has incorrect prices. This is poor business practice. I first noticed their prices jump when the pandemic started and people were ordering a lot through Doordash and Uber Eats.
So, so good!! First time visitors and will definitely be returning. Highly recommend!
Not great Thai. Lacked seasoning completely. My pad Thai was missing tamarind and any sweet element. TomKai soup had chicken so dry and tough, couldn’t eat it or I might choke. Needs work on technique and ingredients. Greasy
I really don't have anything positive to say about my experience with this food.It was salty. The pad Thai was more like drunken noodles, but sweet and salty, with hardly any distinct flavor.
Best thai I've had in a long time! Service was fast and the food was great! We had the red curry and orange chicken. The chicken satay appetizer was delicious too!
Ordered a few times for delivery. Their ramen bowl no soup and pork buns are amazing. Best Asian food in St Louis.
Great food fast and good price. I ll recommend it.
We had the veggie steamed dumplings, green curry, & pad cashew. All had a great mix of veggies. The green curry had a nice spicy kick.
Updating my 4 star review from 5 years ago. This used to be my second favorite Thai restaurant in the city. The food has not been as good lately. The interactions with the staff have gone down hill. After tonight, I am unlikely to return.
