Love, love, LOVE this place! I’ve been about 4-5 times already and they haven’t been anything short of amazing! From customer service to the food, it deserves more than 5 stars. If you haven’t been, you should go! 2 quesabirria tacos with a lime soda and the strawberries and cream dessert is my go to ???? (don’t forget the consommé)
They have the most excellent quasabarra taco a Mexican dish that has become recently popular and known in the United StatesIt is absolutely delicious homemade real foodA tortilla grilled with cheese and pot roast type filling with a soup to dip your taco inThey open at 11:00 a.m. Saturdays and close when they run out of tacos about 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.I am sure once they have the money saved up they will be opening their own location to expand their dining area they have something wonderful going on
The beef tacos were very good i would recommend coming to taco la jefa and also the egg rolls
The food was absolutely delicious. We had a quesabirria and a burrito - first time having the quesabirria but it was insanely good. My fiancé said the burrito is the best he’s ever had. The whole time we ate we just kept saying wow. It was incredible and we can’t wait to go back!
I’d been dying to try the food here for weeks before I finally got the chance, and it was so worth the wait! The quesabirrias were insanely delicious and I drank most of the consommé after because it was just that good. The ladies behind the counter are so friendly and the dining space is eclectic and welcoming. I’ll absolutely be back any chance I get!
Great food, and plenty of it for a good price. The birria plates are enough for two meals unless you're a very big eater. Fast friendly service, though the line can be long sometimes, it's completely worth the wait.
Food was so good. Everything was freshly prepared. One of the workers shared the story about their grandmother realizing STL Mexican food wasn’t what she’d serve so they decided to do something about it. I’m glad they did.
