Sushi is good, fish are fresh. Fried noodles is very much the same as every other Chinese restaurant. The udon’s broth is good but the noodle itself tastes weird, very doughy. 2 stars because of the service, one of the servers (with glasses) is very very nice but there is another older guy, not sure if he is the owner or not, but he waits and also the sushi chef, that guy is nasty. We were trying to order and he took the pencil out of our hands and kept rushing through everything. We asked for some extra ginger, wouldn’t give us any and even raised his voice. We ordered extra food and they forgot and when we asked, he was so rude and said something but pretty much our order was canceled because they forgot or too busy to get to our order. Which totally ruined our experience and it was our first time.
Poor guy racing around, tip him well!! Long wait, saw a few cars, but busy place. 15% food waste charge made me stuff my face with RICE, tooo much FILLER & cream cheese! LMAO. Next time I google every roll to get the best bang for $21.99 "All You Can Eat" NOT Buffet, fresh food prepared, eventually... I added a miso soup as dessert & crab rangood & grilled squid appetizer to justify price of rice. I prefer sashimi or SUBSTANCE next I'll see what is on the regular menu.
Ordered take out about 20 minutes before heading to the restaurant. Got there and waited 40 minutes for my order. The food was really good so we decided to try again. We ordered at 7:55 and got to the restaurant to pick up our food at 8:45 and it wasn’t ready. It was another 30 minutes before our food was done. If you order from here, beware that you may be waiting up to two hours for your order. The sushi comes out pretty quickly, but anything that’s made hot in the kitchen takes a long time to be ready. Four stars because we have no complaints about the food, but the wait time is a little ridiculous, so we’ll probably head somewhere else next time we want sushi.
The food was great, but it was very packed and they had only one server or waitress. I felt sorry for her because she had to deal with everyone. I wasn’t able to get another round of all you can eat sushi. If I ordered it would have been probably another 45 minutes before I received my food. I do wish they update the menu with pictures.
My kids and I ordered $60.00 worth of sushi to go Sat night it tasted a bit off didn’t think much of it. The next morning around five our whole fam was very sick! We definitely had food poisoning for a few days. NEVER AGAIN!!!!
I had food from this place several times... But this time... Was different. Severe food poisoning and a trip to er just to sum it up. Never ever eating here again.And now my wife too... Thanks to neglect of this restaurant...
Went on Valentine’s Day night and it was absolutely busy and there wasn’t much waitstaff so I ended up waiting 40 minutes for my takeout. But they were very apologetic and kind about it, you can’t easily find good cheap sushi around South County.
The server was terrible , the food was good . I understand having bad days but how can you be sitting down eating I understand if it’s her break but why get up and help me , take your break. It’s just the entire attitude of the servers , the cooks were nice and did an amazing job on the food but the server ?
Yummy yummy in my tummy. I finished my whole bowl of tempura udon and some gyoza. Genuinely one of my favorite restaurants. You can tell how much work goes into your food when it comes out tasting so good!!
Attempted a pickup order tonight. Instead of enjoying sushi, I got garbage service, with a large side of eye rolling. Wish I could leave a review for the sushi, but honestly probably not worth it. How about instead of a bunch of attitude and assuming people know your wait times, you should have a service on your online order to inform people of current wait times. OH, or better yet, why don't you answer your phone so when I called trying to get the wait times prior to ordering I could have known and gone elsewhere. Thanks sushi sake for nothing. I promise we will never come here again. I'll make sure to let everyone else know to also not come here ? ?
