EXCEPTIONAL! Highly recommend!
Our family was in the mood for sushi while visiting St Louis but sadly didn’t get to try or eat here. When arrived at restaurant we did notice it was busy so when telling the waiter/owner we were a party of “9” he obnoxiously was like “NO NO I CANT SEAT YOU TO MANY” I explained it was only 5 adults and 4 kids that he could split tables up. Still very rudely said no we couldn’t eat there, some other waiter saw the commotion and asked what was going on and he said he could seat us but the owner/waiter guy still was like “NO NO” WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED!!!!
Sushi Ai has a GREAT selection of sushi dishes to choose from.
Incredibly efficient service, without making customers feel rushed. I walked in, hot, on a Saturday afternoon. I was seated right away and brought a menu. Someone else came to take my drink order, and when she came back, I placed my food order. Everything arrived within a few moments of each other and was well-prepared.I had the edamame appetizer, the fried oysters, and the Snow White roll. The edamame and the roll were delicious. I had never tried oysters before and I think they're just not for me. The prices were affordable and the service was just fantastic. I'll definitely return.
Ate dinner here with the family. Sushi was okay. Teriyaki was not exactly what I would consider a dinner portion (5 shrimp?). One person ordered Hibachi and was served Teriyaki (he didn't say anything but the veggies went to waste). Overall Average.
Nothing short of incredible. Options. Flavors. Freshness. Service was great. They serve up fantastic food. Dining area was comfortable and relaxing.

The sushi here is above the standard compared to the other Sushi Ai locations but the noodles are far beblow expectations compared to other locations. Only come here for sushi and the appetizers.
I was pretty impressed with Sushi Ai! They have a good vibe, pretty quick service, and most importantly, flavorful sushi. I ordered the Saint Louis roll fried, and 4 individual pieces of sushi, and they were all pretty good! The nigiri was slightly more expensive than I expected, but made very well. Oh, and if you like green tea, I'd definitely get a pot. Just be warned, obviously this isn't traditional southern sweet tea. Goes well with the sushi rice, though
The wait was long, but the sushi was fresh. If you're ordering liquor, beware of portions unless you order bottles. They don't fill the glasses. The tables and bathrooms were sticky.Other than that, they have great deals for all you can eat sushi and a wide array of options. The sushi is also made in real time, which was great!
