Cool atmosphere. Asade fries were really good. Also had the pollo taco and sunny pastor taco Both were ok. Chips and salsa were ok. Overall decent tacos. Would come again for the fries.
This place is amazing. I always have to start with the Carne Asada fries. The wedges are perfect for all the yummy toppings. They have a great twist on a jalapeno popper too, yum. I have liked everything I have tried here. Great service & food.
First visit and we will return Very Soon... Great Chips & Salsa, Wait Staff and Food... Most Mexican Restaurants are all very similar... This one is Better !!! If I could rate it Higher I would !!!
I was expecting to be disappointed because the person giving me my food order was very dry in their greeting. However, I was pleasantly surprised that the food was excellent! Give them a try.
Oh my goodness... so fresh and so tasty!! They were so accommodating to my dairy free needs, and I'd have no trouble working my way through the cocktail menu either! ?
Always good food & and amazing staff. I always have to get the Carne Asada fries, so yummy. This place has a variety of table options too, good for groups too. If you have a large group, just call ahead & let them know. Highly recommended from a south side foodie!

My Wife and I have been wanting to try this place for a while now, and finally went there for lunch. WOW!!! What a phenomenal restaurant, absolutely great atmosphere, wonderful service, and the food...outstanding. The salsa is the perfect blend of sweet and spicy, i think maybe it is a sun-dried tomato salsa. Their Queso is a bit on the sweeter side, but great nonetheless.Their food is more of a work of art, so much so I was almost sad to mess it up when I ate it; until the first bite that is! We were approached several times by management to make sure our experience was top notch, so the customer service, like the food, is excellent.This will definitely become our new Mexican go-to.
Good Mexican good in a unique little location. Tacos are well-stuffed and flavorful and the Mexican street corn is quite good. A good selection of GF items that are marked as such on the menu. Be aware that parking is street parking, so be prepared to walk a little bit to get here.
Sunny’s is amazing.. they have great food and the best employees I have ever encountered in a restaurant. We always order for pickup and they are always always so nice. They never forget anything in our bag.. ever. They separate all of the ingredients when we order nachos so they won’t get soggy on the ride home. If you haven’t tried Sunny’s.. you have to. You won’t be disappointed!
