this was the most amazing bbq place I've been to in Missouri.

Awesome food, wish they had these back home in TN.. Best Carolina Mustard sauce ever!

Awesome!!! Busting from WI and loved the pulled pork and all of the different sauces at the table. My husbands said best ribs he ever had!

Stopped off at Sugar Fire for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. The BBQ ribs did not disappoint. A half rack was plenty for my husband.I tried the coffee BBQ sauce and it was outstanding! I’m pretty sure I could just eat it with a spoon! I also tried their “Texas hot sauce, which is typically style I LOVE...this one, however, basically tasted like normal tomato ketchup sauce. Overall, it was a good dining experience. They have outdoor seating which was ample but lacked any real ambiance (the restaurant is in a strip mall). And, the outdoor chairs were wilding uncomfortable (this is a frequent complaint in my reviews)...the chairs are meant to be outdoor lounge seating not outdoor dining chairs - they lean too far back and the height is not conducive to short diners (like myself). The only complaint I have is food was not served hot.

I has the sample platter with all the meats. The ribs were OK. But the brisket was amazing. I would definitely go back and get a plate of the brisket with the polish potato salad. The potato salad was delicious and different from any one I have had. I also tried all the sauces and the white sauce was by far my favorite. It was a horseradish sauce probably one of my top 5 sauces of all time.

Fantastic Brisket! The ribs were a little dry and chewy preventing a 5 yet a very good showing for Sugarfire Smoke House. The restaurant was very clean, and provided an option to try all the sauces which I appreciated. The corn bread and Ham casserole were good. The Potato salad was OK.

Definitely a 5 star expirence for me. This place was recommended to a coworker and myself and the food was delicious. My burger was made to order and brought out to my table no problems. Even though there was a crowd when we went, the service was still fast and plenty of seating was available. Wishing my mother was alive to taste the food here.. she loved barbeque!!

We heard about this place a lot. So maybe we had a better expectation built up. Or, probably that I’m from Memphis, so my bbq standard is pretty high already. We found this place pretty average. Although they have a hype of early closing as they run out of the meat, however, I am not sure if the place is worth for that hype. The location that we visited was like a deli, neat and clean, quite unlikely for a bbq place. Usually most of the bbq joints are very rustic, to my experience. We were three and we ordered a ‘meat daddy’ or something a big platter. This had almost all the samples with sausage, and pulled pork, and Turkey, and brisket and ribs. It came with two sides- German potato salad, and Mac and cheese. The food was decent, but nothing over the top. I certainly have had better bbq before. So, IMHO, it’s pretty average.

Had to check out the orginal Sugar Fire while in town. Place was clean and staff was friendly. Busy place.Ordered the pulled pork but it was rather cold. They don't have mac and cheese for the sides. The downtown one does. Pop made with real ingredients and real sugar is the bomb !!Tried the down one also that closes at 9pm and runs out of food by then. Parking is a pain. Minutes from the Arch ect. Then the Ofallon one. Lots of parking.

My daughter Kirsten and I had a lunch date yesterday! We chose Sugarfire to eat lunch at. We had the brisket sandwich and fries!! The food was FYE!! The people were great, sitting at communal tables was the best. I will return will my husband so he can experience the food and great atmosphere.
