My wife had the Chicken Biscuit “It was good” (She is Eastern Euro…so that means it was the best spicy chicken she has ever had! HAHA My kid had the smoked turkey w/ the white BBQ sauce. He loved it. Now on to me…I had the 3 meat plate. Pulled pork, 1/2 rack ribs, and smoked turkey. It was amazing…I sampled all BBQ sauces (Carolina Mustard was by far the most used) Maybe too much food for any man but it was so good I made sure I finished no matter how much it made me sweat! Damn good!
One of my favorite bbq places! The sides are AMAZING, especially the pasta salad and fries.Love the vibe inside with the neon signs and 90s music playing. We keep coming back! Just wish there was a location closer to forest park or the loop.
Terrific food. The portions were good. Nice selection of sauces. The brisket tater tots are fab. If I lived here I would eat here almost nightly.
If you are from Louisiana or any southern state please do not eat here. The bbq is dry and high. They even charge you 60 cents for a piece of bread. Do waste your time stopping here
Ordered carryout of Big Daddy, slab of ribs, 8 oz brisket and 4 oz turkey. The good news was all of the meat was very tender and good portion sizes. However, BBQ in St. Louis is not intended to be dry rub only. You have to slather it in sauce. Sauce was provided in side cups and cold.
Loved this place! Packed to the hilt…we stood in line for a good while before reaching the front of the line! Cool place inside, good food, friendly staff! My husband had the pulled pork with slaw and fries, and I had the brisket with mac & cheese, fries and cornbread. Everything was good. Had a chocolate chip cookie and pecan pie for dessert. I loved the pie!!! Very delicious! Would recommend to anyone thinking of eating here!
We came here after reading other great reviews and wow! This place does not disappoint. We got the three meat combo with Turkey, Ribs, and Smoked Salmon and were very impressed. The meat is good enough to stand along without sauce, but their sauces are great. The Coffee BBQ Sauce was my favorite. Staff were friendly and helpful! Overall I highly recommend!
