We drove through to get a burger and a couple shakes. Still the same quality.. the serving size shrunk a little though but you can't go wrong with the milkshakes.. hand dipped ice cream done the old fashioned way!
Completely disgusting and workers cant even make a basic burger correctly. I assume they make basic wages and or hire the mentally handicapped employees. I will not eat here ever again. They probably cant even tie there shoes or wash there hands either... Gross!
Absolutely terrible customer service. There is a manager with blonde hair and glasses, she was horrible. She had zero respect for her customers. She took a very small situation that could have been handled in a much better way than yelling at her customers. There is a way to talk to your customers and she needs to learn it. Working in a business establishment myself, you should never talk to your customers the way she talked to us.
Great customer service by the young man in the drive thru and our food was hot and good. Lol my husband chocolate shake was so thick he couldn't drink it while we sat on the lot eating instead when we made it home he warmed it up and it was a chunk of chocolate in the straw.
I eat here way more than I should. Ms Marie is a wonderful manager. Cody is a marvelous cook. I never have problems when I go here. The food is fresh. The staff is super friendly. Probably the cleanest fast food place in St. Louis. This is by far the best Steak ‘n Shake in the city
Ordering at a kiosk and filling your own drink and having to get up and bring your own food to the table really takes away all of the charm. It's really sad I used to love it being the last burger place with real wait staff and now it is more cold and impersonal than McDonald's. The food was still ok but on plastic trays and not real dishes. I don't know who at corporate thought this was a good idea but I don't see this restaurant lasting long with these changes.
Thursday was the 1st time in 4 years I visited this steak n shake. It has these 2 stations to order for inside. The food was HOT and DE-LISH . It was awesome. The service was quick and it was clean. I will be back.
What a shock- you order at a kiosk and then they call your # to pick up your food. I was just really looking forward to sitting down and being waited on!!Staff was very friendly and helpful however because of course I couldn’t get my free birthday meal from the app to the kiosk???
A little weird without servers, and despite them not being busy, it took a while to get our burgers. But they were hot and delicious as were the fries. Still consistently great food!
Self-service ordering kiosk. If you want to pay cash there is one machine that accepts cash as well as credit card. Food delivery very quickly.
