Nicole the server was excellent. She was very helpful, checked on us, friendly, and patient with our large group of 13 (8 of which were kids under 14). Nicole, you were great! Thank you!
Food is still good. My rating is due to the self-service ordering screens that are being used instead of having wait staff. Ordering always goes much faster when you're talking to a waiter/waitress. The self-service touch screens slow the ordering process down and are more confusing than a standard menu and make it harder to see everything that is available.Also, the machines actually put a MAXIMUM LIMIT ON HOW MUCH YOU CAN TIP THE STAFF! So if you're very generous and want to tip more than 100%, you would need to have cash.GET RID OF SELF-ORDER SCREENS AND BRING BACK WAIT STAFF!
To the owner, burgers and shakes are good as they should be. But there is a lawsuit waiting to happen, water all over the floor inside and outside of mens bathroom with no wet floor sign. Not sure why cause the bathroom wasnt clean so possibly a leak but it needs to be checked out, I had half the mind of slipping and yelling "my back!" but my shoes are too good.
I was pleasantly surprised. It's a self service counter where you order. It is indoor seating. Service was quick and friendly. Great to eat a Steakburger indoors again! (I think this model could work well for them.)
We bought five different milkshakes. They tasted good. But when we got them, none were labelled so we had to figure out whose was whose.
Food was good, but the interior was an absolute mess. I highly suggest drive-thru only here. You place your own order with a touch screen standing by the doors. You do everything yourself there, they just make food & call a number now. Nothing like it used to be.Everything was messy, the tables all needed cleaning, trash was full, mess by the soda machine, it was just not kept clean.No condiments at the table either, you go ask for what you want.Just a sad state of affairs for one of the few Steak N Shakes left around. Probably will never come back as I prefer the memories we made at SnS in its prime than how it is now...
My daughter and I ate there Saturday, inside of Steak n Shake and the staff seemed like zombies. I was trying to get this chef's attention this tall guy and he just kept cooking like a nonchalant robot. The manager behaved in a numb manner . Most of them seemed like bodies without souls. It was really a callous uninviting atmosphere. I hate I spent any money at this place. Will not dine there again. Yuk!
Some of the best Steak n Shake I've had in a long time! Love the new self-order process. Overall, quick, tasty, and still reasonably priced. Glad the dining room is open - very clean. This is how Steak n Shake should have been doing things all along!
This was horrible! If you are looking for great food and atmosphere of Steak and Shake of year's gone by, this ain't it. The food was terrible, the staff confused and not following Covid protocols.
Be cautious ⚠️— NOT the place you want 2 stop unless you have plenty of enough time 2 wait, — the workers focus is not customer oriented, they are in no urgency 2 serve you 365 DAYS its A RISK if you choose 2 eat here by wait and POSSIBLE MISTAKES. NEW Employees are badly trained and disrespected, by old employees with the above mentality, but if you are a worker that's not like them. ( with A good heart, and working in a since of it)!!!!!
